I’m so pleased that I visited here on arrival to the Isle of Arran then I knew some of the history and geography before I started to go exploring. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very well laid out and the presentation is excellent. Lots of details telling you what the objects are and how they were used. Great videos.

Museum for historical farming equipment.. Lovely garden with coffee shop which is worth the visit alone. You can visit garden and coffee shop only for a 50p entrance charge. Excellent cakes and pastries.

A really well set up and run museum. The exhibits were interesting and engaging and the staff really informative and friendly. The cafe is also well worth a visit if you like good coffee.

Lovely little museum. Only £5 per adult to get in. Staff are great and it has a nice gift shop. It has a good coffee shop too.

A lovely museum and cafe. Only £5 to get into the museum which houses lots of exhibits about rural life on the island. Reconstruction of buildings and trades on the the Island. Various exhibits about military associations from WW1 & 2 and the unfortunate crashes.

A good display about Arran Creamery which has since closed down and the Post Offices on the island.

Also details about the Geo park and Neolithic history on Arran. A good exhibition on the geology of the island and history of the various minerals and rocks found here. Included the details of the various standing stones on the island.

Also a lovely cafe on site with very good food. The cafe has inside and outside seating with outside under cover.

A large car park so no issue parking and a cycle rack that you can lock bikes to.

Would recommend a visit to see what life was like on Arran.
