I have used ASK Renewable Solutions LTD before and had no hesitation in contacting them again. I have an old boiler that was having a few issues. I was provided with two quotes for repairing the existing boiler or replacing with a new boiler. I agreed to go ahead with the new boiler. A date was agreed and received a call to say they could come a day earlier than expected. The work was completed within the day, and they did another brilliant job for me. The two plumbers Kane and Jack were fantastic. Great work again ASK!!

This company had completed remedial work on my solar installation, as my original installer was a waste of oxygen.

Everything we agreed upon, happened as planned. No messing about, no last minute changes, excuses, cancellations etc.

Scaffolding delivered one day, roofer and electrician came the other day. I feel its almost criminal that this company has got just a few reviews on here, because they've done an outstanding job. Everything was just easy and professional, was installed as per regs, safe, looks miles better and most importantly works properly!

Props to the leccy guy to stayed till half past 9 on a Friday finishing the install, quoting "If you wanna do a job right, sometimes you have to stay late to do it properly".

Big thanks for your professionalism and service, there's a lot of companies that do sub standard solar installs, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this one to anyone looking for an install, and I wish more people would find companies like this, truly a breeze to work with.

I wanted to install a solar PV system at home. Here's how it went:

- 27th Feb: Enquiry made.
- 28 Feb: 45 mins call with an engineer at 7:30pm - initial discussion all about what I imagine things to be. He noted everything and promised to generate a quote.
- 1st March: Next morning I receive an itemised quote with a system drawing and projections of use, generation, payback... and everything a geek like myself dreams of (they use simple PV quoting tool which is the best in the industry). Their itemised quote came very competitive and easily discarded the others on the basis of service, communication and price.
- 3rd March: 30 mins call at 6 pm with an engineer. We tweaked the system size once more to its final form and schedule a visit.
- 9th March: 90 mins visit where the same measured and estimate of the roof size, checked all systems (grounding, electric, water, gas), surveyed the loft and visually inspected the roof. We then sat in my office where he redrew the system in light of the measurements he took.
- 10th March: Next day quote arrived which takes into account all the work done during the visit
- 11th March: I accept the quote and receive an email on the same day advising of all next steps and timescales: 17th delivery of panels and equipment, 18th Scaffolding will be erected, 21st installation day.
- 13th March: All docs are sent my way and I sign & return them
- 15th March: Run into an issue - panels' supplier doesn't have the ones we agreed (global supply chain issues and high demand on renewables after price hikes). On the same day I'm offered an alternative and £100 discount for the inconvenience. I decline the first alternative and another lands in my inbox 2 hours later which I accept. The discount was upheld regardless.
- 17th March: Delivery van unloads boxes and 12 wonderful panels
- 18th March: A delightful chap erects the scaffolding in 90 mins, we have a nice chat, agree a date for scaffolding undoing and they depart.
- 21st March: 2 engineers arrive and install the whole system between 9am and 7pm. They survey everything and answer all the questions I had before departing.
- today 22nd March: All the paper work lands in my inbox and the system works as intended. 17 kWh generated on a sunny, albeit mildly cloudy first day!

Honestly, 10/10 service from beginning to end. Photos and videos attached.

They are excellent in all areas from customer services right through install to ongoing support and maintenance. Ask are very responsive, very helpful and always provide prompt solutions. Had solar panels and battery storage installed in November. Adam was extremely responsive from the first enquiry via the website and through each query I had, usually responding on the next working day.
The installation date was suggested within two weeks of agreeing to go ahead, with a three day window for scaffolding erection, equipment delivery and installation. Everything happened as planned on the dates agreed and the scaffolding was taken down the next working day. Everything was left neat and tidy, no rubbish was left and all the site team were great to deal with.
There had been a problem with one of the panels when unloaded from the pallet (direct from supplier) but that was resolved once a new one was available (about a week) and no payment was requested until the entire system was up and running.
Claire was really helpful from the point of ordering and then with queries after installation, liaising with the inverter manufacturer to update some settings.
Would definitely recommend.
