only 1 star as cannot go lower, we enetered a fixed cost 36 month contract for fibre services, they have hidden in their terms and conditions that they can increase the price if they deem fit, and they do not allow you to leave due to the price increase. do not trust them or enter a contract with them as it is not worth the paper it is written on.

update on reply: all other providers we use have reduced prices on Fibre connections over the last 12 months , so why have you increased against the ongoing market drop. we signed a 36 month contract with a fixed price and you weezle through terms and conditions to place price increases on customers.

Avoid this company.
We entered a service agreement and waited over 7 months before trying to cancel. After this time (Oct-May) we gave up as we started to risk losing some of our key partnerships who needed internet. During a phone conversation with Apsire they said there may be a cancellation fee of £500.
They then waited 3 months before trying to charge us a cancellation fee, a service fee (despite having never provided an internet service they agreed to provide) and ‘construction charges’ (despite having never done any construction, agreed that with us or entered into a contract with us for contract).
They’ve tried to charge us £10k - we’re a charity - and have at no point provided internet service, leaving us months without communications.
I’ve read the positive reviews but I’d advise reading the 1 star reviews because they resonate with our experiences. If it was possible to give 0 stars I would have.
Our issue is currently unresolved.

Just experiencing downtime on a leased line. When trying to talk to this company to get feedback on how serious the issue is and when we could expect the service to be up and running again you can not get through to anyone and we just realised what the issue is: their support telephone lines are on the same system as the one they are providing their service to external clients. Duh.

Firstly, I am not a direct client of Aspire, however, I have been forced to use them, as they are the IT contractor of the business centre in which I lease an office, and they are responsible for the provision of static IP addresses, which is where my interaction took place.

My dealings with Aspire were with an agent names James P, in which something as simple as provisioning a static IP took the best part of a week to get set up correctly.

Initially, I was provided with the details for a static IP address, with absolutely no guidance (neither specific nor general) on what to do with the three pieces of information, that being the gateway address, network and IP address. I set these up with the help of Google and the receptionist at the business centre.

I then set up port forwarding but was not getting the traffic I expected. I was then provided with traceroutes from James which apparently proved that the issue was within my setup and not on their end, "You have your own public IP and effectively manage your own connection via your own firewall/router now - as the connection is making it all the way to your router, there's not much else I can do to support".

I'm not completely oblivious to networking and computing as I studied web and mobile development at university, which involved two years of networking. I have also worked with two home broadband providers on their second-line tech support, in which I talked customers through fixing issues such as the one I was experiencing.

I persevered and even got a friend who manages servers so also has experience with the networking side of things, and he checked over the settings on the router and couldn't see any issues. We tried another router (different brand) and encountered the exact same issue.

I later then ran a nmap and discovered an open port which I hadn't opened (and that the ports I had opened were still closed), I then accessed the IP and port remotely and reached a router admin page, a brand I had never heard of. I then flagged this with James via the ongoing ticket on an evening. The following morning the internet connection within our office randomly disconnected for almost 2 hours, with no forewarning or call; turns out that James had disconnected the static IP address from the port within our office, as this IP was already allocated and IN USE by another client!!

Eventually, I was able to get things set back up with the new static IP address details that James provided, but overall, a completely abysmal and incompetent service, and if I can avoid interacting with them in future that would be perfect; it's not an experience I wish to experience again.

Also, for this waste of my time (again almost a week!) I am gifted with a £50 invoice for THEIR TIME... I have raised this with the business centre and hope to have this cancelled as I wasted far too much time on Aspires sheer incompetence.
