avid can not wait to leave as they rip people off. my LCD screen what goes to electric meter crack as the electric man put it by the act fry and now it crack I told him not to he told me be ok. avid said I got to pay 91 pound. avid you just one big con rip off company

I recently joined Avid Energy and so far have been delighted with the service. The installation team that came out did a real professional job and left me with a very smart looking meter. I did have a query with some usage on my meter and when I rang the Customer Support line the lovely lady was able to answer my queries for me. So far so good finding the service very cost effective much better than my previous supplier who were very expensive.

Would have given zero stars if that was possible. Shocking company with shocking customer service. Give these people a wide berth! I succumbed to join them via a telesales person then had second thoughts within an hour so rang them straight back to cancel it. they continued sending texts to inform me of my swap details so I emailed them, rang them again and again then they had the audacity to say I was out of my cooling off period so there was nothing they could do! I wasted hours that I don't have to spare, on phone calls and emails. It swapped over to them after several weeks so I went straight to my old supplier to be put back with them. In fairness to them, they gave me £50 compensation for the inconvenience!! However... I'd say avoid at all costs in my personal experience

I would just like to commend The customer service adviser who has had a pleasant manner & quick response to any issues I have raised! Although I have had some difficulties with Avid, Lizzy has made the experience that bit better for me.

signed up in October 2018 cancelled in November 2018 no meters where installed waited for them to come and install them but they kept cancelling they are a joke. sent emails and phone calls to say I want to cancel. got a call back asking why i cancelled. I was supposed to be going on pre pay meters but 4 months on some how they have sent me a bill of £224 when I'm not even with them. this company are complete robbery. that's why I have reported them. hopefully they will get closed down as its theft.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. As I'm on benefits I like to keep gas and electric steady £20 would be eaten on both gas and electric within 2 days!!!! I made a mistake topping up £10 as I was in £10.50p emergency I rang to make a £1 direct debit but was unable to do so because the minimum top up only is £10 can not wait to switch. Customer service on the phone is even worse they don't care about your situation they don't have any consideration for you either! THEY hung up on me numerous times too. The joke. Shouldn't even be a supplier if you ask me.

I signed over to this company as i was told my previous suppiler was increasing their prices. Was sold a good package on my doorstep. Only 2 weeks to being with them their prices went up. Never able to get hold of customer services. My balance on the app was always wrong against my meter. And i was going through 20 pound a week electric where with my old supplier was using 10 pound a week.really dissapointed and very misleading.

Do not use this company. They scam people.
I moved into my property 20th of jan and I have already paid £85 in electricity. (In one week) This is not right,
I have rang this company many of times telling them this isn't right, why is it so high. And all I got was them blaming it on my radiators even though they are the cheapest ones you can actually use.
I rang my landlord and they checked everything in my property to make sure it wasn't anything through their fault so it was only leading back to this electricity company.
And I can't help but think it's because they knew I wasn't going into a contract with them and was waiting for a switch over. I asked them 4 times to send someone out to see if it was a problem with my meter and again they kept refusing. They have now put the phone down on me twice and not once I sweared or was rude, I just simply told them I was sick of them ripping me off.
So what I did was turned all the radiators on through the full day every single light and all the electricity and it was very cheap and only took £7
After 5pm it was taking 1p every two seconds. They rip you off and con you
