Switch to Avro was simple, account set-up easy, and their prices are really good for low users like myself. Been with them for 7 months. Still haven't received my first bill, weird but ok. Paying by DD £50 a month even though my annual bills are like £200; fine, I can just get a nice refund at the end. All good so far.

However... if you have any issues do not expect them to be resolved in a timely manner. The customer service number gets you through to people who are less than useless; all they can do is email a different department and have no control on your account. When I asked for my FIRST bill, someone who knew what they were doing, the contact details of the account teams, or the complaints department I was told "You can't, it's all down to our processes". They had NO supervisor on shift (which I find hard to believe), no complaints procedure for customers on the phone (not everyone is computer literate and you cannot discriminate), and whilst I'm £350 in credit, where is my refund

To be honest I'd rather pay a little more for my energy and not have the hassle of all of this. Would not recommend and I won't be staying based on this experience. They get 2 stars purely based on their shocking customer service.

Just signed up for a second year with Avro. Their renewal price was the most competitive. Online account isn't the most slick system out there, but it works and is easy to use. Easy to enter meter readings. Would be easier with an app, but never had a problem with the monthly update. Easy to switch originally. Has been competitive throughout the first year.

That's my first year done with Avro Energy and I've had no problems at as ll and signed up for another year. The monthly price I was given was kept the full way through the year not like other suppliers I've used who give you a monthly cost but 3-4 months in it soon starts going up and I've ended up paying around £60 more per month than the origin as l quote. The only difference is Avro send you a reminder every month to read your meter and send in the reading which is no hardship as it's all done on their website so it's easy enough. Would definitely recommend.

The switch to Avro was very easy via U Switch. The tariff has been brilliant. Unlike the contracts I have had in recent years, I have not had to increase my direct debit at all this year showing how competitive and customer friendly they are. They don't have an app to manage your account and my smart meter has never worked since switching (and I did report the issue) so I have had to submit my own readings on the easy to use website. On the whole a very positive experience and I'll be loathed to switch supplier unless it's for a significant financial benefit

I made a switch to Avro Energy earlier this year because the rates offered then were very good and also the fact that I had a very good experience when using them a year before. Unlike with other suppliers, the switch was very smooth and I was very well informed of every step of the way.

Whenever I encountered any issues/queries for which their assistance was required, they were swiftly dealt with every time.

Their website is very user-friendly, unlike some of the other suppliers.

I will not hesitate to recommend Avro Energy to my family and friends.

Did my research and have been with Avro for a few years now. They let me set my own DD when it was initially too high. Not had a problem with them and the prices have been very reasonable for both gas and electricity. The online services are great and I haven’t really needed to talk to anyone on the phone. Got things sorted out myself online. Very easy to upload meter readings. No jargon in their language. Would recommend.

Very efficient and easy to do business with. The transfer was very easy with good communications along the way and no issues.

Pricing is very good, day to day admin and billing is simple and straightforward.

I especially appreciate the no exit fees, this further confirms this company is keen to keep their customers by looking after them.

All in I'm glad I moved, out of all the suppliers I've had over many years Avro have been the best.

Good service whilst a user , but as previously documented since switching to another user they do not respond to emails, the phone number there is never an operative . I was told originally my outstanding credit ( which is just under £100) would be paid back to me by 6weeks from switch we are heading towards 10 weeks and nothing. I wish I had stopped my DD earlier. Since reading other reviews I doubt I am going to be returned what is lawfully mine.
