I came across AWS when I was looking for a structural engineer to do a site specific survey to determine the cause of a large crack I’d noticed on the rear wall of my property. Their fee, whilst not the cheapest, was not extortionate either …and their reviews were universally positive so I decided to go with them.

I’m so pleased that I did. I felt they were friendly and knowledgeable, flexible when I had to change the survey appt and very thorough in their investigation. The resulting report, which was available a few days later, reflected this and not only covered the area of concern but every other crack to the rear of my home also. Luckily the crack was not as severe as I’d previously imagined and the report offered information on possible causes and very specific guidance on remedial action.

Exactly what I needed - more than what I needed - or expected actually… and I’ve absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

In July 2022, called them for any appointment. Upfront on cost and the process. Rex arrived on time, very knowledgeable, did a thorough inspection detailing what he saw and gave his option as to what needs to be corrected first.
We live in a listed building that comes with a lot of challenges. The report received was everything discussed with approx costs of repairs.
