Absolutely delicious pastries, bread, and sandwiches, best coffee in Ely, and friendly staff! Very nice seating area both indoor and outdoor and various European food to buy as well as wine. Perfect brunch spot but I recommend coming early on weekends as many people love this place! 🌞

Stopped by after an appointment near by and loved the small town feel. The staff were very friendly with welcoming smiles (I did not ask their names 🤦🏻‍♀️) we ordered quite a bit of pastries and enjoyed them. My personal favorite was the sticky cinnamon roll. Two of my children loved the brown butter chocolate chip cookie and my oldest really enjoyed the croissant muffin tinned sugar coated thing. My husband and I both got coffees (his a Mocha and mine an oat latte) presentation was beautiful and they tasted great. I have found my post appointment spot 🤍 I would like to go on the terrace next time as it is a good amount of shading with all the plants around. They do serve wines and possibly beer - they have savory pasties and sandwiches too.

Bakery and delicatessen with their own sourdough breads and some of the best croissants I've had, crispy and buttery.

Also a variety of pastries in changing flavours. Coffee is also very good, including a filter/brew coffee.

They also sell high quality milk, butter, wine, craft beer, meats, cheeses, coffee, chocolate and other deli items.

There's seating inside and a small outdoor area at the back.

We tried three different treats from the pastry and cookie section - and every single bite was absolutely smashing. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had a better pastry in the UK. Each one was perfectly made: buttery, flaky, and full of flavour.

The coffee was fantastic too - smooth, rich, and just what we needed alongside those heavenly sweets.

The space is quite snug, and we ended up standing, but it didn’t matter one bit. The taste of that food will stay with me for a long time. This place is a true gem, and I can’t wait to go back for more.

Amazing pastries and very good coffee! I have been struggling to find a decent coffee in this town with the milk frothed at the right temperature!

There is a very nice little garden at the back, and more seating space next to it.

Do you need the finest ingredients in the world? Vegans, cheese-meisters, meat-eaters, wine & coffee lovers. Get over to Bake Shop. Their deli, bakery, cafe will see you right. Grab a piece of their giant focaccia while you are there.

Tasty coffee and pastries, really nice and friendly people working there. Great selection of specialty foods items, we purchased chilli oil and hot sauce. Went there twice in our 2h visit to Ely. Hugely recommend!

The pastries and bread from here are amazing. You won't find better locally. Beautiful shop with lots of other lovely products. Cannot recommend enough! The wine selection is also fabulous! And their wine evenings are not to be missed! Now it's warm, the garden is a perfect secluded spot to sit and have a coffee
