Hiring a skip couldn't have been easier. Very friendly and efficient service to order
I would like to compliment the delivery driver I think his name was Stuart. He was really friendly and helpful. We had still our Christmas lights overhanging and they were caught on the truck
I was really surprised and grateful when he climbed up to release them so they are still intact. He could have easily pretended he hadn't seen them.
I am sorry I wasn't at home when the skip was picked up.

Great service received from Baldwin Skips. Ordered a skip as a last minute requirement and was delivered same day by a polite driver who checked where we wanted the skip putting etc. He explained to us that it is on a rolling one week agreement and they usually collect the week after unless the office are advised otherwise. When the skip was full, we called the office and they sent someone that day to collect. Great service and we will be sure to use them again soon 👍🏻

First time using Baldwins skips primarily due to the company that I normally use had no availability when I’d hoped for.

Skip arrived early & prompt and though every customer has their skip for 7 days, I left notes which were followed by email to office, requesting that it could be collected same day.

This was honoured and communication throughout had been awesome!

Then, the following morning I received an email requesting an extra charge of £40 exc VAT for a mattress that I placed in skip and is a chargeable item according to Baldwins.

However, because I booked online there is nothing indicating this in T & C’s on their website. I was informed if I had of booked on the phone, I would’ve have been advised of this.

After having received this email I replied stating the above ☝️ and the charge was revoked. Not as a gesture of goodwill but because they have no leg to stand on.

I advised to carry out a social overhaul to rectify this in the future for customers so full transparency is given. Trust is huge for customers. I won’t be using this company again in the future, I’ll be patient and wait for a slot with Kent skips however, the actual service was fab until this last error. It’s expensive hire compared to others so shop around but read the small print would be my advice 😊

A great company to deal with. Saved me from getting massively ripped off by a skip hire broker who had promised a service he could not deliver on and had charged me handsomely for said service. Refund now due. I've not had my skip yet but the service I recieved today from Audrey and Suzanne was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend. I will be requiring another skip at some point in the near future and I know where it will come from . Thanks again for making a difficult circumstance (as some house clearances can be) as painless as possible and with very reasonable prices.

We hired a skip and upon delivery our property was damaged. We informed Baldwins but they failed to resolve the issues and acknowledge the damage. The receptionist has an unpleasant and rude attitude, she even accused us of causing the damage ourselves (despite it being witnessed by our neighbour who is a police officer).

Whilst we understand these things happen, we did not expect such unprofessional behaviour and poor customer service. The director was supposed to come to our home and assess the damage himself but failed to show and has not returned our calls.

We had to pay for this to be fixed and are now out of pocket.

Our overall experience was terrible. The skip was not collected the day it was supposed to be either. I would not recommend.

Having hired the skip that was the easy part. Trying to get them to collect it is another matter. Week later and we are still waiting. We are supposedly a priority to collect but told they are very busy. Today they sent a driver with a skip already on his lorry so he couldn't take it, so who knows how much longer we have this for.
