The second largest greenhouse in London. It is a tropical oasis. You can walk, look at different plants, sit in a quiet corner on a bench and drink coffee or a cocktail. The area is small, but there are many plants. I really liked the room with cacti, but it was closed and we looked out the window. A place for a walk once.

A truly magical experience at the Barbican Conservatory! One of London’s hidden gems and most peaceful spots. The indoor garden is lush with tropical plants and exotic flowers, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a mini jungle in the heart of the city. The atmosphere is calm and refreshing, with beautiful natural light pouring through the glass roof. I loved the wooden walkways and small bridges surrounded by greenery. It’s the perfect place to relax, escape the city noise, or take stunning photos. Entry is free on certain days, but booking ahead is recommended. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the plants. A relaxing and refreshing experience for nature lovers! 🌿☕📸

Went here not knowing we had to book tickets in advance, which made looking for it relatively complicated. When we found out we had to, the soonest was 2 weeks out. Glad we were able to because this was so beautiful to see. Love the different varieties of plants and how well kept they are.

Think I’d bigger this place to be more in my head in advance as it looked so pretty on line. Don’t get me wrong. It is very pretty but there’s not that much to it. It’s quite small so only need about 20 mins to look at it all. It is free though so for free this is amazing. It’s worth a. Call but don’t expect to have your socks knocked off.

A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle of The Barbican. Some lovely orchids & flowers out when I visited this march giving a pop of colour to the greenery of the planting. Plenty of seating about to sit a while & take in the tropical surroundings or grab a coffee at the bar inside the gardens.
Free to enter via tickets you can book in advance online.
Once finished wandering the conservatory there are several eateries & bars within the centre.

Plant heaven in the middle of brutalist building design of the Barbican, amongst the concrete harshness is the wonderful tranquility of this fabulous conservatory.
Plants that drap walls water pipes duct pipes and even other plants create a great environment to just wander around or sit and marvel at this magical place atop a concrete giant.
Well worth a visit.
Highly recommended

Nice spot to relax and take in some plants, tropicals and flowers. It’s not to much to stroll around and with some sitting and a tea or drink from the bar, spending 60 to 90 minutes or so here is plenty. Gotta grab tickets online in advance!
