Went in over the Christmas period and all the staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me solve my problem. Good value, helpful local shop. Highly recommended

Found by accident really as Screwfix didn't have what I needed in stock.

Barkers had the same product in stock and were cheaper. Surprised at how much stock they had and super impressed.

So many Screwfix products are collect next day now, I will certainly be using Barkers whenever I can in future.

Excellent DIY handyman's treasure of a shop with wide range of plumbing hardware, paint-ware, wood preservatives, nuts, bolts, nails. Household cleaning equipment products and so much more. Helpful staff.

Finally got round to reviewing.
Went in to buy some washers and ended up buying a wheelbarrow aswell. Very helpful and friendly staff delivered it for free that afternoon as it wouldn't fit in my car.

I don’t like this shop at all. They sell all sorts of DIY goods but I always feel it’s a awkward atmosphere with not very helpful staff. I also feel a lot of the items for sale are not very good value for money.

Hanging baskets, service and a one amp fuse - what a combination !!!

Whether you are new to the area like us or long-time residents there is plenty in here to keep you occupied. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff and a great range of products. Plus that all important smile at no extra cost.
Any strategic direction for the future of the shop should focus on staying as it is !

I've got to say on a recent visit to this shop in downham market i will be visiting again, the staff are friendly and helpful and with plenty of choice for home and garden it's well worth a visit, i wish all good towns had a shop like this keep up the great work.
