From the first contact the service delivered by everyone was professional and friendly. During the site visit, Barri provided a clear explanation of how the solar panel, battery and load diverter for the immersion heater would work. The follow-up information pack that was provided was clear and gave estimates of usage and savings. The quote was fully itemised and easy to understand. The team of four that installed the panels, battery and diverter did an excellent job, which was completed within a day. The work was completed to an excellent standard and they ensured that everything was left clean and tidy at the end of the job. I was given a clear explanation of the GivEnergy website/app and how to track the energy produced and usage along with advice on how to use the system to its best effect. A great experience from start to finish. Barri was very professional and knowledgable and arranged a suitable system for our very complicated roof. We have different materials and elevations and all was taken into consideration in the detailed report and cost breakdown.
The Huawei system can deal with the different roof pitches and matched to the 10kWh battery storage is ideal for our needs.
The installation team were great. All were friendly and professional and were very tidy with no mess. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

I recently had solar panels and a battery storage system installed through a 0% interest loan from the Development Bank of Wales, and I am thoroughly impressed with the service provided by Barry Davies Electrical Ltd.

From the initial consultation, Barry himself took the time to visit my home, carefully designing a system tailored to my property and offering clear, impartial advice on the most suitable solution. His expertise and genuine approach gave me full confidence in the project.

The installation team arrived promptly at 08:30 and took the time to explain the day’s plan. When I returned home from work at 17:15, I was amazed to find the entire system fully installed and operational—I was already generating my own electricity!

In addition, Barry recommended the installation of Rointe electric radiators, to replace my old storage heaters, which have transformed the way I heat my home. I now have full control of my heating via a mobile app, adding both convenience and efficiency.

Selecting the right solar powered system can be quite daunting when you first look into it. You get plenty of advice, most of it different, so it's difficult deciding who to put your faith in. I am glad to say, I made the right choice.
