How can delivering a free 6-page newspaper to 2000+ homes in Duns be considered green when it contains practically nothing relevant to the Duns area? What a waste of paper, time and effort providing what, at best, will be used to protect the carpet when cleaning shoes or, at worst, chucked straight in someone's normal bin and go straight to landfill.
One of the claims it makes is to help provide local jobs yet the paper is printed in Glasgow then delivered, via the Post Office, to individual homes. Green? No! Providing/protecting local jobs? No! Good use of the money given to bribe us into liking a wind-farm site? No! Perhaps a title change to Don'tBeGreen is in order.
