Fantastic place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable.The room had everything we could need. It is a great location in the centre of Brodick. We were lucky enough to be allowed in our room a bit early. Alan the owner made a great breakfast that had a personal touch. He us feel very welcome. He gave us a great recommendation to see Glen Rosa. it was a nicer more personal place than most hotels.

What a fantastic establishment. Allan is such a superb host. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The breakfast each morning was gourmet class and so well presented. The view from the dining room was stunning. The guesthouse is so well placed, not only for the ferries back and forth but for touring the island itself.|We wish Allan all the best in his future.

Lovely comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room & ensuite, beautiful view from the dining room and equally beautiful view on your table when Allan the host serves your lovingly prepared breakfast with fruits from his garden.
Eager to know & meet your requirements, help with any issue and make your stay as memorable as he can, Allan and his wife Jan are excellent hosts. Would stay again. Note to vegans, the home made square sausage (no wait - heart shaped!) is top notch, creatively prepared with herbs from Allan's garden). Good value too.

I felt really at home in this guest house, and as a solo female traveller I felt safe. Check in was easy and my room was comfortable with all the necessary amenities. There were even wine glasses as well as mugs. Oh, and little sachets of oat milk as well as regular milk. I’d have liked some herbal tea bags but an ample selection was available at breakfast. Speaking of which, Allan was incredibly accommodating and made me a vegan breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. The views from the breakfast room are breathtaking. |All in all, Belvedere is clean, cosy and Allan is a friendly host who goes out of his way to accommodate guests’ needs. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful time here, stayed for two nights of a mini trip to celebrate and adored my time there. I picked this place out because the breakfast was included and let me say, do not skip it, nothing better than starting the day off with such an extensive breakfast; fruit salad, full Scottish breakfast, and toast (especially with all the birds that like to hang out in the front garden in the morning). The owner and all the staff are super lovely, they have great advice and are usually for directions when you are on the Isle for the first time getting your bearings. Really hope I have another reason to stay again some day, 10/10 would definitely stay again ❤️

This was the BEST b&b we have stayed at. Would absolutely recommend to anyone coming over to Arran. The rooms were clean, comfortable and views were unreal. Allan was an excellent, friendly and tentative host and the home cooked breakfast was outstanding! If we are ever lucky enough to be back in Arran, I know where we will stay!

My wife loved Arran & In the past we’ve always stayed self catering but now that I’m on my own i thought I’d try guest house. Belvedere exceeded my expectations. Great room, great breakfast, great facilities, and ‘ min Host was brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble. I will return.

Had a perfect stay at Mr Alan's guesthouse. Perfectly situated on the island and a nice wiev over the bay and Goatfell. The breakfast was soo good and high quality. Alan has good tips what to do on Arran.
