Fantastic doctors all have been amazing since we joined the surgery 9 years ago.
Unfortunately receptionist staff need training on giving advice out , My pregnant daughter was given the wrong advice which ended up in a hospital visit. Thou not Serious could have been avoided.

Outstanding Practice.
I have nothing but praise for the team at Bere Regis Surgery - both doctors and reception staff. They have always been so helpful and responsive. Today I contacted the surgery to request a call back from the Doctor and even though I’d missed the time slot to request callback, they said I should get a call before end of the day. I was then contacted by the doctor about 40 minutes later. This is typical of their responsiveness and concern. Well done team!

Doctor's and reception are amazing. The dispensary not! I had some tests and was sent a text by the doctor to say i should try this medication i tried to get it in the chemist in wool but parking was a nightmare so i went to the dispensary here. I explained to the girl the doctor said to take this medication so she said she would sort it out. I went to pick up the medication i assumed it was the perscription the doctor advised but it was the wrong medication in the bag and i was also charged for 2 medications!!! I said that's the wrong medication and they said they are holding on to my money until they speak to the doctor the next day!! Even then there not sure about refunding me and only the practice manager can and shes not back until next. I don't understand how people can be so uncaring. So i have no medication and I've lost around £19.00. It just doesn't make sense that i told the girl the medication i was advised to take and i get something different and are charged for 2. I'm not rich!!! Its also horrible as there is no patient confidentiality when your at the dispensary and they wanna talk about my medication while there are people there. Its wrong. Obviously i did not take that medication away with me so i have no medication.

From my phone call, on a busy Monday morning, to triage callback from GP, appointment and medication available, the service from the surgery was wonderful. It took one hour from the callback to physically having my medication. We are so lucky to have this excellent team available to us in a nearby village. Thank you Bere Regis surgery for all you do to keep us healthy!

By far the best doctors surgery i have ever used, this doctors should be the template for all doctors surgerys going forward, they are professional, prompt and extremely good at diagnosis, not to mention quick to respond to any emergency. I rate them 100%

I have been going to Bere Regis Surgery for about 8 years now and have always had a positive experience from the Drs. We came from a very large surgery in Somerset and was passed around the Drs which was a pain in its self because you had to explain everything over again.
If I have ever had an issue with my health ant Bere Regis any tests etc have been arranged straight away and followed up.
Dispensary staff are also very good.

this surgery is hit and miss. Basically, the worst surgery I have ever experienced in my 52 years of moving around the country. I have seen 4 different Dr's in a year and a half, the only decent ones were the two trainee Dr's, the rest are patronising and dismissive. They appear to be Burnt out and no longer have the right mentality for their position. Reception depends on who you talk to, have experienced total incompetence, arrogance and total lack of care, occasionally have experienced the opposite. The Dispensary are all but useless, if you want to receive the wrong medication or have to come back several times then you are onto a winner, always someone in the queue experiences this, so I know it isn't just me! The practice manager is neurotic and unprofessional not to mention untruthful. I was told by her that I should go to another surgery, when I complained about my daughter's medication being wrong for the 6th month in a row! Good luck!

It's a great good fortune to have this excellent surgery in the next village. Doctors and dispensary availability are very good. You can always get an appointment as quickly as you need it, prescriptions are always ready and even chased down if there's a shortage. Health care is very proactive; as a middle aged man I'm regularly invited in to check up on the multifarious afflictions to which we're apparently prone. (Sadly, a wasted effort in this case). The nurse service is friendly efficient and expert, those jabs and blood tests don't hurt a bit. When I hear about services in cities and other locations I realise how lucky we are having this on our doorstep.
