I am very pleased with the process of getting my 16 solar panel and two battery system installed. Craig, my first point of contact, was incredibly helpful, providing detailed quotes and ensuring the installation process stayed on track. James, who oversaw the installation, made sure everything was installed correctly. Bill, the director, also assisted with the installation and was very pleasant to converse with. Chris, the electrician, efficiently completed his part of the installation. Overall, I'm very happy with the experience and the service provided by Better Living Energy. We are now saving money on our electricity bills and contributing to a greener environment. I would highly recommend Better Living Energy to anyone looking to make their home more energy-efficient.

If I could give 10 stars for this company I would, we have had a solar PV and battery storage installed this week and the workmanship and friendliness of the team was way beyond what we could have hoped for, Craig, who we initially dealt with answered all our concerns and designed the system bespoke that met our needs, the roof installation team were fantastic and installed the panels in such a way that they fit perfectly and look Amazing, the electrician, David was absolutely fantastic, the standard of work produced by him and his apprentice is the very highest the industry standard has to offer, his knowledge of the system and his explanation of use and set up was brilliant. I would also like to say how great the electrical apprentice was, he set up the APP and was extremely knowledgeable and im certain he has a bright future ahead of him. In summary this is an honest and trustworthy company who has taken pride in their work and who we highly recommend and would certainly use again.

Better Living Energy has made my journey to a solar powered home very painless.
From start to finish, everything went smoothly. You get local, but very experienced workmen installing the panels and electrics and they keep you in the loop all the way through. The whole system was top notch technology at a very reasonable cost. My bills have been halved overnight and I’m sure my bills will reduce further as I tweak the new technology.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company for all your solar panel needs.
P.s. Craig does not use heavy handed sales techniques and you will only be offered a system that is required, not one that is too big for the job required.
UPDATE
Three weeks in and solar/battery system working seamlessly with newly installed heat pump and Myenergi Eddi.
No gas or gas meter and spending less than a £1 a day including standing charge. The Eddi ensures hot water from solar system once battery fully charged. We have 2 cheap periods of electric every day and ensure we use no grid power between 4pm and 7 pm.
Now connected to grid for outgoing spare power. Getting 15p per KWh for that. £200/month bills are now a thing of the past. The saved money now pays off the 5 year loan instead.
Getting this system in from Better Living Energy at Durham is a no-brainer!
EPC rating has also gone from a C to an A!

I was dealing with knowledgeable, competent people throughout this project. The work in my house was done quickly and efficiently. The electricians took time to site the equipment so that it caused as little interference with the other uses of the room in which it was located. The roofer who had installed my roof came to check that no damage had been done to when the solar panels were installed that might invalidate his guarantee. There was no problem and he said that it had been done expertly.

I can highly recommend this company. You will be dealt with in an intelligent down-to-earth manner with none of the flannel that I got from some of the companies I contacted.
