Had problem with a light fitting which was broken/damaged either in transit or at the warehouse. Contacted Birco and spoke with Emma in customer service. Sent an email with photos of the broken fitting. Received a replacement next day. Cannot fault her for her assistance in promptly dealing with the problem

I paid for the postage on my order. The items did not fit, I returned the order and paid the return postage. They are refusing to refund me. This contravenes the Consumer Contracts law. They seem to think they can make up their returns policy just to suit them. I’m fighting this through PayPal. I’m reporting them to trading standards. Do not buy from this company.

Brought a brass bulb holder for £7.45 with free postage. Unfortunately it didn't fit. So I had to send it back. They told me to, at my cost which was £3.50. So I expected a refund of £7.45.
But they only refunded me £2 50! They took off 4.95 postage! It would have cheaper to chuck it in the bin. After complaining they refund me the full amount so I'm now happy with the outcome.

Bought 2 off in line light switch, from Birco through Amazon, came. Ext day and were a good quality switch and very easy to install, would buy again direct from Birco but for the prime delivery …. hence not 5 star

Great company have dealt with this company for years and have always been reliable and offer good products at the best prices these do source in from other companies so you would have to bear that in mind when returning things so make sure it fits before ordering

Purchased a Philips garden light which developed a fault after a couple of months. Sent multiple emails regarding this and not even a reply. Very poor. Bad review for the cost of a poxy light. Makes no sense to me.

This company advertises goods as in stock but they are just glorified dropshippers. I ordered urgent parts and had excuse after excuse, carrier didn't pick up first, then they had been sent to their old address, a week later they couldn't even tell me where my order was. I cancelled and reordered for next day delivery with a proper company!
