Thank you to Sophie who helped me pick out my paints and brushes. I’ve painted my front door and it looks amazing, Sophie mixed the correct colour I wanted, it was perfect. Next the glossing.
I would have picked the wrong paint if Sophie didn’t help me.

Had a nasty fall there. I'm going to physio now because I damaged my shoulder. Happened in their entrance. I realized I needed a trolley after I entered store, and knowing I'd have to walk all the way to other side of store to exit to go outside and get one I turned back and in a hurry tried to leave through the entrance as the trolleys are kept nearer. The security gates closed and tripped me and I stumbled and fell really hard right next to where the security man sits. I couldn't move but eventually got up and walked around store. But the next day things got a lot worse.

So warning to other OAPs. Be very careful there.

I’ve been a trade customer for many years and have purchased goods from various B&Q stores across Greater Manchester. Since moving to Bury and undertaking a home renovation project, I’ve interacted with many members of staff at the Trade Centre.

As is often the case with large stores, some staff members are naturally more approachable, helpful, and pleasant. Recently, I’ve had particularly positive experiences with Jodie, Jed, and another gentleman whose name I unfortunately can't recall—middle-aged, wears glasses—who was also very helpful (sorry to forget your name).

Jodie, in particular, stood out for her exceptional customer service. I had an issue with a misplaced receipt and, without hesitation, she assured me that she would look into it. In most cases, you leave the store expecting no further follow-up, but to my surprise, around 45 minutes later, Jodie personally called me back. She clearly explained the situation, obtained approval from her manager, and resolved the matter efficiently—completely putting my mind at ease.

It was a truly pleasant shopping experience, and I now always look out for Jodie when I visit, just to say hello. Her helpful attitude and professionalism are genuinely refreshing. Thank you for such great service to you and the wider team.

Review for Timber Cutting Service at B&Q Bury.
I recently had some timber cut at B&Q, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received. The gentleman who assisted us, Billy, was extremely helpful from start to finish. He went out of his way to get a trolley for us right away, making it much easier to manage the timber. Billy then helped us with the cutting process very efficiently and professionally. His friendly attitude and willingness to assist made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

I bought a cement mixer from here. The 1st 1 lasted 13months,2nd one lasted 5 day's, 3rd one lasted 6 hrs. Totally unbelievable. Massive amount of aggravation and hassle. I also lost £ 200 into the deal!!!!!! Build buddy 134l!!!! Avoid like the plague. B&Q,avoid like the plague. I bought 1 from Tool Station

Staff at the entrance were friendly and helpful. Real cashiers available to use instead of the self service tills a definite plus. The garden centre staff were helpful. Place is tidy but needs more staff. Building department very hard to find the staff.

most of the staff are polite, but some team member's are very rude and lie to customers to get out of doing work.

They tell customer's they are not able to do certain services so that they can have an easy day at work.

if you want a better experience just go to a different store.

The best place to buy everything from tap washers to toilet seats! Who doesn't love B & Q. I could spend hours just walking around and browsing often shopping for a packet of screws or some paint and coming out with a jet washer and plants as well. The staff are all so helpful and friendly too.
