A lady from Lithuania was extremely helpful in her knowledge of sanders. Very often staff in shops can be lacking in knowledge of products but she was really educated and genuinely interested.

No shopping baskets to put your goods in whilst instore. Asked 2 staff members for help and both said there aren't any due to them being stolen. Management need to get this sorted or offer an alternative.

B&Q website said store open 10-4 on Easter Sunday, travelled 30miles to find store closed Easter Sunday, lights on inside and goods outside 😡 doors locked. Waste of time and money.

Last minute visit looking for plumbing items. The staff member on the door was polite and we found what we wanted quickly . Another till was opened to clear the last customers. Great job.

If there is an employee reward/recognition at B&Q Bangor then I nominate David Jones from the paint section. We had a problem with our order/delivery and Dave gave us brilliant support and sorted it for us straightaway. Rare these days to have such amazing customer service but he really is the best!!!! We are very happy customers 😁

Usually a lovely shop with helpful staff, but our last visit was nothing short of awkward. Found what we needed an headed to the tills to be greeted with a queue and one staff member working whilst two others stand behind her looking very angry. At first I thought maybe they were training her but then another member came and asked one to jump on the tills which she did begrudgingly. The other refused to acknowledge him and rolled her eyes, I understand that there is probably something going on maybe she had a off day but, if she can’t serve and treat other staff without being passive aggressive maybe she needs time off. It felt like we walked into a room mid argument very awkward and I felt as if I was doing something wrong. Sabrina I think was the member who served and the other was Katrina. I don’t think it’s good for other member of staff to feel like they are on eggshells to the point where I was wary too. If she needs time off she should have it to process what we had made her so angry, it shouldn’t be brought into work so blatantly.
