Visited first thing this morning as I needed some replacement equipment urgently. Got to the till this morning where a woman in her 50s was on duty. As I wasn't paying cash she directed me to the self service checkout. I explained I didn't like using these and she said "it'll be fine". I said I wasn't scared of them. I didn't agree with them and didn't agree with the video recording/facial recognition on those tills. She was really miserable and still wouldn't serve me. No other customers at the till. I was tempted to put the goods down and walk out, but needed them urgently and I was in a hurry so I carried on. I managed to position myself away from the video as I don't consent to the surveillance when paying for my goods. Couldn't get the till to move to the payment option so she had to come and do it, she was put out and grumpy. If this is the sort of customer service that B&Q are providing then I will be finding another company to buy from, as this was not a pleasant experience

Shambles, new staff every week, staff who works in there and is experienced acts as if that was a big ask to even serve a customer. You can never find anyone on the floor to ask a question, everyone always seems lost and not knowledgeable, avoid.

The shop floor is clean and well presented.The staff is helpful and polite.They sell quality stuff in good prices.you can buy hardware,bathroom stuff,diy to garden equipments.They have big parking area outside.All in all I would rate it 5 stars.well recommended.....

Cheerful and helpful, even if few staff about at this difficult time. Bought Good Home bathroom paint in Delaware grey, love it. Went back and bought kitchen paint in Brooklyn grey and white tile paint. Mixed a bit of the Delaware in the white for a new tile border in the bathroom. Pics attached.

What a great store this could be!!!
Not everything I wanted was available so will need to shop at Tamworth B&Q and Tool Store or Screw Fix.
Poor old Bunnings.
I shopped at your stores in Australia.
Just changing the name from Home Base would have you competing against B&Q.
And you sell trade tools not just domestic.

Brilliant staff service in the gardening department at the Burton-on-Trent store. A staff member helped me locate a suitable garden hose, attachments and hose gun with great advice and was considerate of my predicament and helpful.

When for Lay-Z-Spa accessories, didn't disappoint. Had everything I wanted cheaper than could find on Amazon.
Plus had the items to hand now not delayed or rescheduled delivery time.
Should have bought hot tub lights from them too .....
Instead now waiting for another delayed delivery ?
