Went to the Haverhill B&Q on bank holiday Monday. Go to checkout and there was a long queue. The best bit was there was Two staff members just standing there Not helping to get the queue down. Not a bad Job getting paid to stand around...

Lost a whole day using valspar furniture paint from B&Q. Four attempts, lots of sanding and poor finish. Three trips, two tins of paint and a refund. Staff couldn't give me a reason for my problems, and I felt they didn't care. I'll never use valspar furniture paint again from B&Q. Disappointing experience. I'd recommend Johnstone's trade eggshell instead. Recommended and sourced elsewhere from staff who know about paint. In the end I saved my son's birthday present just in time.

Went into Haverhill store today to buy a Nail gun and couldn’t Find any. Spoke to a staff member called Robert who was extremely helpful and went out of his way to assist me. Wish more assistants were as helpful. Many thanks to Robert.

Don't visit here often, large parking area but the store is looking a bit run down. Plants are very healthy and a large selection. Not as much paint choice as there used to be.

Excellent service. Ordered an item online for in-store collection. They had it ready within minutes, and when I got there one of the staff went out of his way to find one with an undamaged box. Employees like that are what make physical stores worthwhile.

Wish there were more choices in wallpaper as there are so many good ones online. But staff are friendly and helpful and its huge on the inside, even though it looks small and quaint. Would like staff to have a bit of training in the use of the decorating card scheme 🙂 otherwise a good B&Q and we will be back.
