I attended B&Q last week and was hunting for a remote control fan, looking online it said store stock unavailable so I called in to see what was available. A young gentleman called Sean helped me to locate the fans and find the correct one for my needs. Sean was extremely polite and helpful while I was there. A credit to B&Q.

Wanted to buy six bags of topsoil asked to take one to till to purchase, as I had a bad back, then with receipt take six and load the car. Told I couldn’t be trusted to take one as I might steal more. Terribly rude, I cut short my shop and will take the rest of my shopping to an alternative store.

Went in to Sidcup b&q today trying to fined a paint for my son’s bedroom so much to choose from and needed some help, I was kindly approach by Frances at the paint department. What a wonderful lady she was so helpful and took her time to help me choose a paint lovely and polite. Staff are wonderful and sidcup b&q thank you agen.

Went in today, NYE, to get paint last minute to touch up a wall before I hand my keys in tonight. I was trying to find assistance in making sure I buy the right thing and don't have to buy a huge thing of paint for a tiny place. Spoke to a man, about 30ish, white with facial hair. Rudest, least helpful store assistant I have ever come across. He told me the smallest they do is 2.5 litres and walked away. By the time I looked where he had pointed and turned around, he was gone. Then when I was at the till, he was rather rude and abrupt to all customers waiting in the queue, trying to get everyone to pay by card.

He himself doesn't deserve any stars. My partner however found a more helpful store assistant who helped with our queries. Woman at the till was also more polite.

Big B&Q store- with outdoor nursery.
The store has everything one would need for home- indoor plants, gardening, paints, hardware etc etc

THIEVES IN THE PARKING LOT - BEWARE!

Be cautious if you shop here—there are thieves operating in the car park. I had tools on the back seat of my car, and somehow, they managed to unlock it and steal everything while I was inside shopping. I have no idea how they did it. When I reported it to the staff, they showed no concern and simply said it was "not their problem." Very disappointing. I won’t be shopping here again and will be reporting this to head office. Perhaps it’s time they invested in proper security?

Bought some flooring in the 15% sale for click and collect in Newham but then was told it wasn't available. Headed to Critall's Corner and Steven sorted everything for me. Called up other branches, sorted my refund and arranged collection in a different store. It wasn't an easy job as there were IT issues and it took about 30 mins but he was super professional throughout and was really impressed and thankful for the service. Thanks Steven!
