I had an exceptional experience at B&Q, all thanks to Chris! I was looking for a specific rope and needed it cut to size, and Chris went above and beyond to assist me. They have a wonderful collection of pots and plants and it is all worth every penny. However, my experience was ruined by the security guy who told me that I should have bought £1 buckets instead of the pots/saucers worth £34 to grow my plants. He even went to talk about common sense and what not. If that is your marketing strategy to get rid of the buckets den no thank you! I'm not going to be your customer.

I used to live near Willow tree lane, Yeading and I decided to make the journey over there to purchase some pest control products.
I have always been a big fan of B & Q. Who are at the forefront of the DIY store league in the UK. B & Q in addition to their extensive range of DIY equipment and tools have a very good gardening section. Which includes a splendid array of: Houseplants, & Outdoor plants including all of the paraphernalia to grow and maintain your garden.
I don't know very much about pest control but I was very impressed with the range of products for the job of catching rodents. I hope that the small selection of equipment that I have purchased will be sufficient to deter the unwanted guests. Actually I am not sure whether it's rodents that are causing the disturbance at night. But it's usually always better to be safe than sorry.
I was also grateful to the helpful and friendly staff who helped to point me in the right direction in the store.

Disappointed. I chose to click and collect. It took 20 mins. I could have easily done it myself quicker. The click and collect area doubles up as a returns and complaints area, two of which stood before me in the queue. A member of staff managed to get someone on me before the last "complainant" left, which I was grateful for.

I've already downgraded B&Q to 'only if it's cheap, or can't be found elsewhere'. It's now downgraded further to ' don't do click and collect here'

Having spent £375 on 3 oscillating heaters with the 3rd heater purchased from the Yeading branch on 1st Feb
After using the heater for a couple of days as our boiler was waiting for parts .The top oscilating section started to become detatched from its base and the remote control to stop the oscillating part didnt work.my husband placed the top section back in its place and after a few hours it started making a cracking sound although it still oscilated and heated the area.However a piece of plastic base started to come away and after a while it started to break up completely.
We returned the heater on Saterday 8th of February and was met with abuse,three female staff members,one hardware department " manager" And two saterday tillb staff.we were accused of dropping or miss handling the heater and putting oil in the diffuser although you can put essential oils in the top section air diffuser/ purifyer. As stated in the instruction leaflet and packaging.
We were constantly berated and accused of lying and made to feel like criminals for almost half an hour in front of other customers.
It was decided by the head of th our inquisitors or( gang of three) accusers to replace the heater which we originally requested.Then she piped up again and again again along with her collegues that we had droped it .and must be telling lies
What discusting attitude and treatment to be metered out when all we asked for was an exchange.
If it had been a cheap item we would have just bought another however £125 ×3 isn't peanuts.
We are an older couple,we have spent in excess of £20,000 on a new kitchen and accessories in just over the last year from B& Q and would happily prove this. No way are we lyers or vandals.we bought these heaters in good faith and one was clearly faulty.
I doubt if we would continue purchasing anything else from B&Q if this is how you train your staff to deal with decent customers..
I thought inquisitions had ceased!!
I would be more than happy to discuss this upsetting incident with one of your superior managers.

I had the most amazing sales assistant, Nicky, help me and my parents purchase all the items needed for a bathroom revamp. Nicky was very patient with us, talked us through all the options, and took the time to build a model of the bath, including all the materials we were going to purchase. Through her knowledge and patience, we could purchase the desired items and were confident in our decisions. Nicky was fantastic! If this is the usual customer service provided at Yeading B&Q, then I will definitely be returning.
