Before setting on the slog to the DIY stores in Westwood Cross , highly recommended you ring Brills . Their prices for timber and aggregates match or better the chain superstores . Don't know how Brills do it, but happy they do , 5 minute walk to them as opposed to 1 hour minium in the car to Westwood X .

We have now used this shop 5-6 times in the past few months, mostly over the phone, getting bulky items delivered. We finally visited in person this week. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Good old-fashioned customer service. Highly recommended.

Brilliant Brills to the rescue!
Following a relocation to Margate I was in need of a few diy bits and a couple of bottles of gas unlike the big chains Homebase/ B&Q I was treated like a human and service was great the bits I needed were in stock and very competitively priced my gas was delivered ( only have a small car ) next day which was perfect, the staff were great the delivery guy was helpful and on time, goodness me we all need more shops to work this way and we must all support to keep our high streets worthy of customers

Brills is one of those gems. Independent, knowledgeable and they stock what you need. If they don't have the odd thing then they will order/deliver for you. Friendly staff with good old fashioned service!
