I would like to thank the chap in charge of black bin collections in Gateside Manor this morning. He listened to me, a senior citizen, about having assisted collections as requested. I trust him to put this in place each time and wish him all the best in this essential work. I am thankful for all they do.

There’s a guy with a red wooley hat on one of these vans. If you see him, have a look at his work ethics and tell me that he could give a toss about customer service. Unfortunately this reflects on other collectors who are doing a good job.

I placed my recycling bins out for collection at my property. I observed the recycling collection vehicle approach my street, and as I stood outside, I waved at the crew who where now at the end of the cul-desac to ensure they saw me and my bins. The staff made direct eye contact with me, yet despite this, they proceeded to reverse out of my cul-de-sac, carefully avoiding my bins in order to navigate the congested road.

I waved at them again as they reversed, but despite looking directly at me, they ignored my bins and continued on without collecting them. This was not a simple oversight; it was a blatant disregard for their duty, especially given that I made clear efforts to signal them.

This is the second time I have experienced a missed collection in recent weeks, and I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service. The staff’s unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, and it is clear that they are failing to perform their duties properly. I trust that the collection lorry is equipped with CCTV, which should capture the events of this morning. I strongly urge you to review the footage, as it will confirm my statements and provide evidence of the crew’s neglectful that this type of behavior does not occur again.

Waste of time recycling!

Most weeks they don't bother their arse to empty the boxes but today was a joke of an excuse.
I sorted all the recycling into the correct boxes as stated on the kerbies (as you can see in the first picture) yet the bottom box wasn't emptied. They left a flyer stating they didn't empty the bottom one because it wasn't sorted into the correct box, it was literally a case of emptying it into the van - no sorting necessary as only cardboard in it, now they've changed what you have to put in each box and I'm meant to just know this? When did it change? I've been putting cardboard in the bottom one since we got the wheeled kerbies and when they do bother to take the recycling it's not been a problem.

Bryson are getting mega money for recycling while we sort it and clean it, doing most of the work for them, and they can't even be arsed to throw a single kerbie with ONE material into the lorry.

Recycle bins are never fully emptied, there's always something left behind, both in the bins and on the roadside. Very disappointing service

I live in Carrickfergus and have not had any problems with the recycling guy's, only problem is the boxes are poor quality and are easy to break.

Unbelievable service, 1 week they empty next week they don't.
Recycling carried out as per instructions on bin and Bryson.
Boxes left lying over the drive, we are paying for a service that is quite clearly inadequate.

If you are in an area with these guys managing it you honestly lost the postcode lottery. Gone from having never had any issues with recycling in an area managed by the council to out of 6 weeks it being picked up once. That one week saw boxes chucked about the road some left to fester. All but given up handling this as its a danger to public health having waste in the sunny/rainy weather so long so recyclables going in the black bin or just driving to a local center myself. Left on 2 stars since I know it's a hard and unappreciated job managing waste but these guys need a big shakeup
