We tried Butternut as we were really struggling with getting our dog to eat anything at all. Mealtimes were a massive pain and I was starting to get concerned that she wouldn't be getting enough nutrients for a growing pup. I can definitely recommend it to everyone. I did a lot of research on dog foods before taking the leap as I'm a final year vet student myself I felt I needed to make a good choice. Butternut definitely came out on top in terms of hitting nutritional markers, we do however, still mix in another brand of kibble as I wanted to avoid an all wet food diet. Our dog absolutely loves the meals, we've never seen her so enthusiastic about any food (except cheese and she can't live on that!). Mealtimes are now an absolute joy, she has much more energy and seems more content. Her poos are also more consistently solid than they were before and she's very regular. Butternut was slightly more expensive than what we had been feeding before however, it is definitely worth it for us as we're wasting a lot less food and it has massively reduced our anxiety around her eating habits. We are three very happy customers (please see pictures of our dog modelling her Butternut scarf as evidence).

Toby’s tail is always wagging at his meal times! It’s been a few months since we changed to Butternut and he still devours his bowl in seconds!! The good thing about Butternut is Toby can eat different meals everyday so he doesn’t get bored with just one flavour. We used to give Toby kibbles since he was a puppy but we had to add extra toppers as he stopped eating kibbles. We
changed to Butternut recently after he had some mild pancreatitis. Vet recommended he should eat soft, easy to digest food as well as grain free. Toby’s poo is definitely looks better since we changed to Butternut. We are so happy that we found excellent quality food for our fur baby.

Not only do my dogs love this food, getting extremely excited and barking at me at meals times I absolutely love everything about this product. The packaging each month is all recyclable and reusable, I use the water from ice packs for my plants the wool insulation in the garden to stop slugs on my plants or I can arrange to send it back to be recycled.
I love everything about this company and what it’s about. I am so pleased I found butternut box 🐶🐾🐾

Waffle my Chihuahua is a very picky little lady and has been on Butternut meals for 7 days now after months on fresh cooked chicken and a variety of tinned dog foods. I let her tell me which flavours she liked before writing this review. She loved the Chicken, Lamb and Turkey clearing the dish in one sitting. However the Pork and Beef pouches went untouched even though they were well prepared like the others. As I thought Beef and Pork were two meats she never enjoyed so I will not include them in her next box. I am very impressed with the first box as the meals all look and smell much better than tinned products available so I will be staying with Butternut as Waffle is one happy little doggo when she gets the flavours she likes. I you have a picky dog then I highly recommend trying a Butternut box your doggo may just thank you for treating him/her with tasty good looking food made with love and care.

Started using butternut box a couple months ago as my puppy was getting bigger and I thought he needed more nourishment from his food. Well I have to say it was 100% the right choice. He is more content and has more energy since I started feeding him butternut box meals. Whole natural ingredients so you know your dog is getting a healthier diet. The choice and customer service is fantastic.
I would highly recommend butternut box meals to every dog owner

My beautiful dog was making it obvious to us that they were more interested in our food, rather then the traditional dog food. We ate new to Butternut box, but my two fur babies, absolutely love the food , and have no wishes to go back to traditional dog food again.

Amazing people, always on hand to help! Super user friendly website. Delicious doggy food that arrives quickly and is easy to store. It smells amazing and my doggy absolutely loves it! I can not praise Butternut Box enough!

Our puppy absolutely loves Butternut Box food. He runs to his bowl at mealtimes and often goes back to his bowl to see if there is anymore. Can’t recommend this more highly. Would definitely recommend trying this for your puppy/dog. So pleased we did. Our puppy would eat his food before but the difference now is that he clearly loves his food now. So lovely to see how satisfied he is and how happy and content he is.
