STAY AWAY from this scammer company. As long as you have to pay them, it's all good, but the minute you need anything from them, like a refund for an unused gas bottle or your deposit, they will turn their back on you, and you will never hear from again. I've been chasing a large sum of money for 6+ months, without any resolution, so I had to involve the Retail Ombudsman, who ordered them to pay me, but they still keep ignoring any communication or any request from anyone. Next step is now the court to get my rightful money back. Unless you want to deal with these things, my only recommendation is to stay away from them. There are other companies like Eastern Gases or London Gases, who are way better than them!

If I could give minus one star I would.

As a business in Norfolk with 17 employees we have now been without gas since Sunday.

No heating
No cooking facilities
Frozen pipes

Called calor customer services 8 times since they opened Monday am, spoke to Katherine, Richard, Natalie and Becky, no one can say when we will get a delivery, short of drivers I was told, also they said they aren’t able to speak with the delivery depot as the delivery depot does not have any phones, really, they don’t have any phones.

So as things stand we can’t trade, no income for the business, 17 staff at the moment, if this goes on then it will be zero staff and we will be taking Calor to court, which I’m looking into now.

Calor you need to take a look at yourselves, absolute disgrace.

Finally run out of gas after phoning the local office every day for 10 days since tank was at 12%. Now I've no heating, no hot water, no cooking. Freezing in December. Currently tagged as "emergency" and still waiting. The people I speak to on the phone are nice but the people in "the sales team at head office" simply won't do their job. Five months this has been dragging on. Absolutely appalling service, unbelievable. It's as if they actively don't want customers.

Absolutely terrible company. They promise automatic refills using telemetry but this never works. They then ignore their liability and leave you for days without gas as they have no system to prioritise their depot activity. Absolute shit show. Avoid avoid if you can.

Tried to be responsible and let them know about one of their cylinders having foreign objects inside it but was told initially that I'd have to drive over 400 miles to take it back to the stockist it came from and then by a separate person that I could take it somewhere local, fill out some forms and then wait around 8 weeks for calor to collect it from the stockist and take it for testing. As I need one in 3 days, I even offered to bring it direct to their cylinder distribution center but was told this isn't possible and that I'd just have to buy another bottle if I needed it. I said it sounds easier for me to just bring this one to a local garage and say it's empty and exchange for a full but was told I would be "extremely irresponsible" if I did that. Personally I think it's more irresponsible of calor not to want to do everything they could to get this bottle back and find out what these foreign objects are, how they got there and if any potential dangers exist within their supply chain.

It seems to be impossible to speak to anybody to set up an account! I have moved into a property with a domestic bulk Calor Gas tank, and it is empty. Weeks of trying to get in touch by the website, email and phone, and nobody ever gets back to me. Interminable waiting on hold and been hung up on many times. I have no heating or hot water. It's freezing. I can't order a delivery because I don't yet have an account, and it seems impossible to set up an account. Would move to a different supplier, but that process apparently takes 28 days, so I am stuck trying to get a response from this bunch of clowns. How on earth can a company be allowed to operate like this? Just speechless...

Tried to order gas for a festival in 2023 calor did not deliver, attempted to deliver to an unstaffed, site week's later, now still trying to invoice a year later for a service they did not provide 😕
