Well what can I say, Steve and his team are great! From start to finish the service has been excellent.
After experiencing a flood and loosing my boiler in the process, Carters couldn’t have made the process easier. A friendly and honest survey to quote, amazing team on the phones who answered loads of questions, to the brilliant work in my home. I am so grateful for their efforts, they are not your typical tradesman who leave off at 3pm. They were all here working their socks off past 6pm most days to get me back to normal. Each of their team had a friendly disposition, that made me feel completely at ease with them being in my house for 5 days. The overwhelm and sheer emotion I feel for just how grateful I am for all their hard work. Thank you so much!

Steve and Paul did a great job on my new/relocated boiler, and were mindful of the reasons for it when it came to positioning pipes etc. Helpful, friendly guys who clearly know the technical aspects of everything they install and are happy to communicate it. The office staff are friendly, helpful & always happy to help. You get text messages to confirm your appointment, and when the engineer is on the way with live tracking! Absolutely amazing.

Really disappointed with service received. Booked in for a standard boiler service, a time and date to suit us was accommodated which was great. On attendance the engineer informed me that our Nest thermostat was not wired in properly (after much huffing and puffing and comments on the person that installed its work, which I found really unprofessional). I agreed for them to disconnect it so the service could be completed. I then received an invoice with an extra £25 for ‘additional labour’. Which I was not adverse to paying but feel this should have been communicated by the engineer at the time when he asked if I wanted it disconnected solely for transparency. Funnily enough within 2 hours of him leaving I then received a phone call asking if I wanted to book in for them to reinstall it and again no mention of the extra charge. Unfortunately I think it was seen as a money making opportunity, as three electricians have since confirmed Nest was installed correctly! So will not be using again.

Honestly could not be better they’ve always been our go to plumbers but they’ve just fitted us a new boiler and smart thermostat and I’m so pleased with it in terms of the workmanship how polite and efficient they have been and how they managed to squeeze us in before Christmas and even pick up on and fix our broken toilet while they were there

Excellent installation. I'd been trying to find a firm to replace my 23 year old open flue gas boiler with a new condensing combi boiler, relocating it from the kitchen to the loft. Most firms said this could not be done for a variety of reasons, such as the boiler would not fit in the loft space, and/or it would be too far away from the gas supply to work properly. They all offered solutions that would be undesirable to live with.

Steve Carter dismissed all these theories, and said he could get a combi boiler fitted and working in the loft no problem. Which he did. He also spotted several issues that none of the other firms did, such as a badly corroded radiator and the outside gas supply pipe corroding in the ground.

The job was completed by Steve, Paul and Adam in three days and involved a lot of work: new gas supply pipe from outside meter to loft and then to kitchen, new combi boiler in loft and plumbing to existing pipework, replaced one rusting radiator and fitted an additional one in airing cupboard, installed new earth bond cable from consumer unit to external gas supply pipe. Quality products were used and all work was done to a high standard. All new pipework was done very neatly and unobtrusively: in particular the new flue and condensate pipe for the boiler. There was minimal disruption for such a big job; everything was made good afterwards with cement, sealant etc as required, and any dirt and dust was thoroughly cleaned up. Also the price for the job was very reasonable.

I am very pleased with the installation. The system is working perfectly, exactly as Steve had said. I would recommend Carters Heating Services to anyone.
