After careful consideration and a good check of my ring camera ive came to the conclusion theyve swapped out my cable. Msi optix monitor funnily enough they had a 24" version of the same model. My own cable had 0 damage when i left the house. Yet when i return its got a slice out of it pretty clearly too, something youd notice upon cleaning said wire with a alcohol and blue roll before leaving the house. More to the point i take the daft chinese pat test sticker off the plug. This one has it on it. Funny that. More to the point i was asked to wait around an hour to then be told this, it ahould have been noticed on initial inspection if there was any damage to MY wire. Staff were all over the place and i even have more of a friendly demeanor a customer was asking about where to get an ssd for a ps5 and with 0 hesitation the staff member went aw yeah youll need to take it apart and get the screw out, not even show the guy the ssds? Naw? Absolute clown upsale oportunity missed and i recomwnded the guy go get the crucial p3 1tb on amazon cause its reasonable and i wouldnt be buying a thing from someone whos knowlege on hardware extends to fitting the ssd but not being interested in helping or even showing the customer what they need? Absolute waste of space.

This has to be hands down the best CEX that I've been to and I've been to many.

Staff are friendly, the store is clean and warm as soon as you enter with clear display cabinets
(Even though they have a dedicated Nintendo display shelf, 🤢sorry Sega for life🤭) The store is very well kept.

Recently I've had a disability and navigating through the store was no harder than when I didn't have such disability.

Staff were always ready to help me pick up things from the bottom shelf or make buying and selling as comfortable as possible.

Well knowledge about their products and if one member of staff does not have the answer to your questions they will get correct advice from another member of staff that clearly are experts in that field.

I've baught a few games based on the advise from members of staff and had a good giggle doing so making my experience as a customer more pleasurable.

I would like to take the opportunity to have this review used by any member of staff to take this and show your CEOs or area management how they run this store and ask, and I mean all staff rewarded as obviously from a customer's point of view things are working well at this branch of your franchise. Wishing the staff and store all the best in 2025

I have been here a few times and it is entertaining.

It's almost like being in PS3 game.

My last visit saw a giant troll just coming off a masonic march in heated debate with a sumo sized member of staff having a stramash over a non existent phone.

Sold them brand new mobile they tested they s card they the 2 sim it is,the same mobile,the firm went it too we buy phones and they bought it for over 500.

Sold my old phone to this store for a fair price, after receiving a ridiculous quote from another shop 2 minutes up the road, my only concern was when I handed back the receipt they gave me (as they were testing the device) she didn’t ask for my ID to ensure I was the person selling the phone, when I initially took the device in the guy I spoke to told me to bring my ID back as they won’t release the cash or my device back to me without it. All in all I would go back again.

Really helpful staff, big variety of everything you possibly may desire. But before purchasing YOU HAVE TO READ ALL AGREEMENTS AND BUYING POLICIES…especially if you want to buy something unconsciously.
But as I said stuff is really helpful, so probably they’ll help you to figure something out.

Really knowledgeable and friendly staff that are able to explain in great detail all about the games and devices they sell. So glad I shopped here, saved me a lot of time! Highly recommended. They also have a lot of DVDS and Blu-ray's, only small gripe is that I would have preferred movies to be organised by type, or action, comedy,, thriller etc rather than titles alphabetically . Though if you know what titles you're looking for you'll find them quick.
