I've bought various lots from this co.pany and never had an issue. In fact they have held on to my last 2 lots since October this year as I've had major surgery and couldn't drive to pick them up. Always helpful amd professional

Description of objects does not correspond to reality. I received a machine made thin synthetic carpet. May be made in China. The auction house had described the rug as a: Kashmiri Rug mixed silk material. It's completely unserious that an auction company can't make a correct assessment. Big warning!

Stockholm 2022.10.31 I now received a response from Chalkwell Auctions, claiming that I received a full refund including the transportation costs, This is incorrect and a lie and obviously proves how dishonest this company is. I have neither received compensation for shipping costs nor customs fees (Sweden), which in total are significantly more than what this fake carpet cost. My recommendation to avoid this company remains, big warning because they are scammed.

Trevor and his team were awesome. Great experience with this auction house. Will recommend to family and friends. Was simple from start to finish from Trevor viewing our items to proposing sale lots through to payment. Also enjoyed popping along on the day and seeing the auction live. Very exciting! 😀

I bought some old magazine photos.
Easy transactions.no complaints with that.
Was then told it was £17 postage charge.
I got a quote from post office £3 tracked or £6 special
I was told it was a handling charge
Absolute rob dogs.no way on earth its £17.just trying rip folks off

I would like to thank Grant and his team for the outstanding job they undertook of my late father’s house. This was a partial clearance so the house was left with a few pieces of furniture etc ready for sale. They did an amazing clearance and then ‘dressed’ the house as they saw fit down to organising similar paintings/pictures on the walls to moving furniture from one room to another. Thank you so much for a brilliant job and for leaving the house so clean and tidy. We were very very impressed. Thank you.

Very poor administration, lack of communication and mistakes with invoicing that caused needless hassle. Sadly needs a bit of an overhaul.

Update....following a suggestion that this was a bogus review, I would like to advise that this related to a pair of earrings. The invoice was wrong, then you guys went silent for 8 days, then you failed to notify me when the item was finally dispatched. Might I recommend you spend more time on getting the basics right, and less time arguing with your customers.
