We are thrilled with the stove, which we purchased from Cheshire Design Company. They were so helpful and took time to discuss what would be the best stove for our situation and what we could accommodate in our existing chimney. They organised for the stove to be professionally fitted and they were even able to put us in touch with someone who could make us a stone fire surround and hearth. James was also invaluable in advising us on the best fuels to use on our stove. I would highly recommend this company.

James certainly knows his stoves. He helped us choose the right one for us and we are so glad we bit the bullet and opened up our fireplace. You only want to do this once, so it’s got to be right. I phoned cheshire design centre to see if the shop was open to look at wood burners and thermal stores and have a “general chat” about them. I was told this was something different and they would charge me 100 pounds for a “general chat”, therefore i did not get chance to set foot in the shop and look at any of their products. I will be going elsewhere to buy my heating system where they will be happy to chat about their great products and knowledge for free.

Visited today with partner looking for a new Woodburning stove, came away with lots of great ideas, staff were friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable. Fantastic products, extensive range, more than just a wood burner shop, very attentive really looked after us. If your unsure what you need they will steer you in the right direction to ensure you get the correct products to suit you. Would definitely recommend. Well worth a visit. Really helpful.

James and his staff are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all their products (which are numerous and top quality). They will find a tailored solution to your needs whether it’s a bathroom or a complex heating system.
We wanted to install a heating system incorporating a wood burning stove and solar thermal. I’m sure there are few people in the country that know as much as James on these systems!

Purchased 2 clear view stoves from Cheshire Design, both times we used there recommended installers to fit them. The first stove we had no issues and received a hetas certificate on the day. The second time the stove was fitted by a young man called Jackson and also an employee from Cheshire Design but we didn’t get the hetas certificate on the day we was told it was done on line and we would receive with in 2 weeks. 3 years later we still can’t obtain a hetas certificate, I have spoke to Alec at Cheshire Design On many occasions and also Jackson who now just ignores us. Be very careful as the last time I spoke to Alec I was told the only solution was to pay to have the stove re installed. Not happy Customers!

I called in to see if I could get some advice about wood burning stoves and found to my absolute delight that not only did the team seem to know there was to know about stoves, they also advised on pretty much every aspect of renewable energy and especially RHI supported log boilers that I didn't even know existed. I am subsequently delighted with our eco heating and hot water system that now costs us literally nothing to run, providing heating and hot water for a family of 6 FREE!
I would definitely recommend you talk to the team, the knowledge base, enthusiasm and passion is second to none.

We bought a Clearview stove about 12yrs ago and it's still going strong. It's one of the best things we ever bought for the house.

We have good advice when deciding which model to purchase.

After sales is fantastic too. We've been able to purchase new glass for the door after I accidently dropped it when cleaning.

Definitely the place to go for a stove amongst other innovative heating solutions using renewable energy. James is passionate about his products and you will certainly leave feeling more knowledgable than when you went in.
