This store is actually five in one. It is a toy shop, a haberdashery, a hardware, a bicycle shop & best of all (for me) a very well stocked model store with everything from airplanes, to tanks & back again plus all the tools you would need to really enjoy the hobby.

They are well stocked on Humbrol & Tamika & Airfix & if your thing is railways then they have everything you might need as well. I love coming here but unfortunately my self control suffers & I always end up buying stuff.

I know they're a little dear but I don't mind paying when this place is so close to where I live & I love supporting the small man.

Love the Toy Shop in the Ely City Cycle Centre. Every visit has been met by a very warm welcome, impressive knowledge and support - excellent customer service. The Toy Shop holds a very large stock - something for everybody - and perfect for gifts, at very competitive prices.
The staff work hard to help without being pushy. I popped in this afternoon to buy a ball pump to inflate a few balls for the holidays. Sadly, they didn’t stock them, but….. the lovely Mr Olley opened his magic drawer and found the end insert part that I really needed! Can’t thank him enough.’We shall return..’ Do go and visit.

I needed a small SES 15w appliance bulb for a Christmas decoration. I emailed the DIY department who replied promptly that they had a suitable bulb in stock. I called in on Christmas Eve afternoon and a very helpful lady assisted with choosing the correct bulb, I bought two so I'd have a spare, as the particular bulb isn't always very easy to track down. Great customer service 10/10!

What a wonderful shop this is. Every member of staff is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable in their department - nothing is too much trouble. The toy department in particular is fantastic!

I paid £214 to have an old bike receive a full service. I received the bike back with damage to the handlebar post, one of the drinks holders shoved into the rear mudguard and the bike unwashed despite having paid for washing. They took the bike back and washed it, which is when I found the huge gouge around the handlebar post and gave up on these people. Prior to this I had been thinking of taking our custom road bikes here but I would never trust them with anything now. Please do not take your bike here, send them a message that behaving like this because the bike is old is not good enough.

Took bike for spokes to be tightened. Told it was ready to collect a few days later, noticed from the off rear tyre was flat. They pumped it up and the wheel must have misaligned when doing so as tyre came off the rim (bike dropped on floor while they were pumping it) . Tried the other cycle store down the road as was having a bad experience with their service, they said they did not have the tools to realign the wheel easily. Was advised to take it back to here and complain, did so and was told to go elsewhere as they did not have the equipment for it. Got it home myself and sorted it at home. They kept saying it was a puncture it was not the inner tube is fine they just did not take good care of it. Very poor service will take my business elsewhere in the future, would have asked them to do more work on the bike if they had done things right.
