City Plumbing is easy to find. The only issue I had was when I turned up at 0550 for a 0630 tip, the gate guard waved his arms at me and put 6 fingers up at me to tell me he doesn't talk to anyone until 6am. Fair, I get it, you don't work til 6. OK....atleast talk to reduce the confusion, furthermore, instead of allowing me to wait at the gate (for 10mins with nobody else coming in) he told me to reverse back around a bend. I did however there are plenty of parking spaces inside the gates and nowhere safe to park outside, it being double yellows for a mile. Another HGV turned up 3 minutes before 6. He was given the same welcome! Yep, the driver had to reverse around the corner, inbetween me and the curb. By the time he got behind me, it was 6am and I was allowed in. Honestly, can't make it up! I was polite and professional and moved forward with the day. Health and safety is a bit wild but nothing too over the top. 10MPH speed limit on site....except for shunters, they can go what ever speed they fancy 🤷‍♂️. The staff in the office are friendly and professional although they gave me a curtain sider bay even though I had a container. Two blokes rushed outside to tell me the correct bay. All went well, fast tip. Happy to do the job and a decent place all round.

The managers are running this place like Hitler.
The entrance looks good but the warehouse is full of hazards and dirty. Extremely filthy toilets.

If you speak regarding any concern then they will find a way to fire you without warning. If you go to get some water, the dogs will chase you.

Go for this job if you are extremely desperate or don't mind being a slave.

You will get briefing by a team leader and all they say does not reflect on the business or its workers.

Staff want to spend more time stood around chatting than actually doing their jobs. We'll ignore the list of stupid *safety* requirements
