I am absolutely delighted with this firm. I had a very interesting discussion with the rep in my house. I investigated what I had been told and verified things for myself, finding all to be accurate. When it came to installation the lads were superb. No fuss, very quick and they cleaned up after everything themselves leaving no mess. The equipment works well and I am delighted to say that my solar panels are clearly working better. I would have no hesitation in recommending Clear Renewable to anyone.

I had a new inverter fitted in February this year (2019) and have now made 4 appointments to have its performance reviewed. Needless to say, no-one turned up!! Jesse even admitted that for the third appointment, he forgot to pass the appointment on! Half of my solar panels are not working, so not only have I wasted time waiting for someone to come, wasted time on numerous phone calls, but I am also losing money from my feed in tariff! Also, my receipt for the inverter is dated 2010. I want to scream!!! Avoid this company at all costs (and that will be lots!)

Received a call from Clear Renewable back in April to arrange a visit from one of there assessment managers to carry out an assessment on my PV system.
The guy turned up and after carrying out various checks informed me that my inverter was on its last legs (had a loud humming noise coming from it and was extremely hot, not good being in my loft which is heavily insulated).
We discussed the various options available too me and decided to have a SolarEdge system installed as it made each panel run individually, in turn giving me better generation.
Installation was carried out 2 days later.
Nearly 6 months on and I am more than happy with the service I have received as well as the product.
100% would recommend Clear Renewable to anyone looking to upgrade their system and get the most out of their PV system.

After a call from Clear Renewable, I accepted their offer to see what they could do to improve my Solar Panel Array. I was dubious at first, but there was no harm in listening to what they had to say; if I didn't like what they suggested, I wouldn't proceed with any additional 'improvements'.
My 10 panels were apparently wired in a 'Parallel' configuration; which I was told could be a problem if one panel Failed, it would stop recording the Solar Energy generation from all of the panels.
The solution was to rewire the panels in 'Series'.
I agreed and they rewired the all the panels to the SERIES config.

I also had my Inverter changed with a Solar Edge Inverter. Makes it so much easier to monitor the system production.
I did not take up their offer to install a battery to store excess generated energy for use directly to the house, but as yet, battery's are 'extremely expensive' and battery technology hasn't quite caught-up. Perhaps in a few years time.
They also advise me, that as I was receiving the TOP Generating Tariff, If ever I decide to move home, I should sell the Solar System separately as that tariff no longer exists and is worth an 'an absolute mint'.

I recently received a call from Clear Renewable of which was unlike any call I’ve received about my PV system. The gentleman’s approach and explanation who I spoke to was overwhelming. I understood the recent company I spoke to was out of business so I essentially didn’t have anyone dealing with my system. I then had one of Clear Renewables assessment managers round to check my system and inverter. I replaced my traditional string inverter with a solar edge. This provided me with a module for my system which helped me monitor on a daily basis it’s activity. Not only have clear renewable been brilliant they have also helped me remain optimistic about my system and provided the security as a ‘go to company’ if ever I need them. Thanks guys!! Highly recommend

I am being generous to give them one star. The answering machine is permanently on and nobody returns calls or answers emails. I have resorted to contacting the manufacturer direct as the inverter on the solar batteries has stopped working not that anybody at J&D Renewables or Clear Renewable care

Spam telesales call, dubious information provided: did we know our installiinst company gone out of business, inverters only last 3years, transformers don't last very long, but circuit boards do according to their sales patter! Didn't know our installation company or inverter manufacturer so how can they tell...

Wasted my time, but could have been worse I could have wasted money with them too!

Consistent spam calls to get engineer to call and inspect system that is working well.
Wife explained I am hearing impaired and we do not take sales calls over the telephone. They refused to send brochure instead.
Impression was they wanted to sell something but unable to provide cost and potential savings.
Fear they might "adjust" system and cause problems. Cannot find any satisfactory reviews of this Company on other websites such as TrustPilot
