I did a lot of research on heat pumps before obtaining any quotes for work, and when I saw that Jason was 'Heat Geek' trained I knew that I had to include him.
He is extremely knowledgeable and willing to engage with the ideas and thoughts that I had about our system.
We decided to work with him even though his was not the cheapest quote, but we know that we have the ideal system for our house, which will mean better savings year on year.
Even when just supplying hot water in the summer, the system regularly works at over 400% (COP 4) (much better than the systems purchased by our neighbours from other installers), and at even better efficiency when the heating is on. All his work was completed to a high standard and the follow up after care has been excellent. I have since recommended Jason to two family members, both of which have chosen to work with him.

I can't recommend Jason at Clear Skies Energy too much. He is extremely knowledge about heat pumps and gives excellent advice on what would work best for you. He took considerable effort to tailor-make the best possible system for my house and successfully installed it only a few weeks later. Since then he has always been on hand if I have had any questions or needed any advice and the system has operated well-beyond my expectations. It is a large initial outlay but definitely worth it and I am extremely satisfied with both the heating and hot water.

I searched a long time for someone I could trust to put a heat pump in for us - so many questions and negative reviews about heat pump performance.

I finally found Jason, who after an initial website enquiry, called me back in about 20mins.

From the first conversation it was clear he'd be our heat pump guru. Completely patient with my numerous questions, challenges and upfront and honest about how the system might perform without overselling the final result. We're on 10mm plastic microbore, historically a no-go for heat pumps. It works just fine. Jason made sure with the setup and design of the system it had the best chance to work efficiently.

We have existing solar PV, batteries, EV and associated smart tariffs. A heat pump made total sense for us and to disconnect the gas supply.

The work was completed to a high standard and although we had a couple of bumps along the way during commissioning these were sorted promptly and without any fuss. The end result is a notably higher performing system compared to others nearby, a house that is evenly warm even in the coldest temperatures (it was -7 last night) and the lowest bills through a cold snap we've ever seen. And we've not even finished tweaking completely yet either.

Jason was very knowledgeable and guided us through the transition from a gas boiler to a heat pump. We had a number of quotes for the work but Jason was the one who we trusted to get it right. He and his team work very hard during the install, which is more complex then just replacing a boiler.
