This Company was one of two quotes from which I chose, as Steve was very thorough in both explanation of the product, installation and ongoing care required. He also assessed our property to ensure we had a full impact understand so we had no surprises in either costs of work needed.
This gave us total confidence before any commitment. Unlike the alternative company was seemed to be more trying to sell us add-ons without even reviewing the house.
When it came to installation, we were called before to ensure in was a convenient time and on the day the engineers arrived promptly and were great. Doing their work but stoping to sure what they were doing and why. It took two days from start to finish, including addition radiators, all testing and them showing us (with great patience) everything we needed to know.
In summary, I can’t highly recommend this company enough. A week after the installation, I had a call from them to check everything was working and confirm my grant was completed.

Initial contact with office and sales team instilled confidence whilst enquiring about Heat Pump.
Heat loss assessment carried out punctually and efficiently. The assessor in my view was very honest as there was opportunity for him to upsell but he did not do so.
System fitted last week and so far working well although heating side of things will be assessed in the winter!
Fitters punctual, polite and efficient always taking time to answer questions etc .
Based on my experience to date I would recommend this company.

I bought a house two years ago where Climate Save had pushed a badly designed heat pump on the previous owner. The system delivers a terrible COP (1.8x real world performance - nothing like promised) and doesn't actually keep the house warm. The system ices over so badly that I frequently have to partially dismantle it to remove ice that started to chip at the fans. This is despite their service "engineers" trying to adjust the control settings.

Now they've called me out of the blue accusing me of booking a service appointment that I missed! I have not bothered trying to contact them since their last engineer came round and didn't have a clue what he was doing.

Do yourself a favour and if you must get an ASHP speak to a Heat Geek certified firm and avoid these cowboys. Or better yet, stick with oil or gas while you still can.

Edit - the company claims this was installed in 2017. Not true - see photos of project proposal from 2019.

We had a photovoltaic system with battery storage fitted in March 2023. The engineer doing the job was excellent, his work was really tidy and went to more trouble than strictly needed to make it that bit neater. This alone demands Five big stars.

Slight drawback was around follow up paperwork. Was asked for payment very quickly, which makes us nervous, to facilitate rapid turn round of documents then documents arrived when we would have hoped for them anyway. Comments from Director of Climate Save Renewables Ltd in response to our original review state that this is standard practice.

Our previous comment around DNO Approval has been withdrawn because it was not necessarily something that Climate Save Renewables Ltd could control but would stand if this was a bigger organisation.

July 2024 - Speaking to a family member who had a system fitted by Climate Save Renewables has given me additional reason to be concerned about the standard of after sales service. Issue was resolved very easily after six month wait for acknowledgement of responsibility.

I have purchased both Solar and a heat pump from Climate Save Renewables. The service has been fantastic and the team are excellent. I used this company due to their technical knowledge and have recommender them to friends and colleagues. I would recommend you use this company if you are looking for solar or a heat pump. 5 stars from me and my family.

Climate Save Renewables

We had a air source heat pump installed by this company just over a year ago.
We had so many problems with it from the start and even had no heating/hot water for 3weeks during the coldest part of this year.
We’ve tried contacting them so many times but they never get back to us and never pick up the phone.!!!
The install they did is bad diy at best .. wrong size pipes/ cylinder size and they couldn’t even commissioned the system correctly.
In their contact they give you 7 years free servicing but they phone us wanting a payment for the service they were going to carry out on the heat pump! We then told them what is says in their contract and never ask again for a payment..!!!
The air source pump they spec is totally wrong for the size of are property and now has cost us a fortune to put their work right you will probably see their work on the
YouTube channel (Heat geek) as they couldn’t believe the install that had been done by this company.
Please don’t use this company as you will be paying someone else to fix their work once they’ve gone !!!
If you have any problems with their work you’re on your own as they don’t care once they have your money..

Had a solar system set up and an air source heat pump. I had no idea how to work it but the engineers were very patient with me and stayed till they were satisfied I understood. Great price, great system and even better quality of service.

Had heat pump fitted 9 months ago. Had a few teething issues (mainly operator error!) but all issues dealt with quickly by engineers.
