We used Colchester EV Chargers on recommendation from a friend who has recently used their services to have their EV charger fitted. We are not disappointed. Lea surveyed our property & promptly quoted for the work. His quote was comprehensively laid out with all the relevant details & costs. Refreshing as so many trades people just lump everything together without that detail so you often don't have the full picture of what you are paying for. Once the quote was accepted Lea acted promptly to fit us in with just a two week wait for installation.

The installation went very smoothly. Lea is very obviously a professional & his work cannot be faulted. As an ex-trades person myself, I don't say that lightly. There was no drama, no flames or smoke!!!...coming from the under stairs cupboard where our distribution board is fitted. Just very neat fitting of an additional distribution box above our existing one with very neat cabling exiting out through our external wall to the EV charger thingy! Once installation was complete the setting up process was under taken by Lea with some assistance from Tamara in the office over the phone. It all went smoothly.

I cannot recommend Colchester EV Chargers highly enough. Top marks in every area of their work & very polite & courteous into the bargain with a good sense of humour. Thank you Lea.

We wanted to get a home charging point added to our property and found Colchester EV Chargers on Google. Both Lea and Tamara are extremely pleasant to deal with and what they don’t know about EV charging isn’t worth knowing. They gave us guidance on what charging point to go for and advice on upgrading our home fuse. Lea carried out the install and did a very neat job in a timely manner. The job was very reasonably priced too. Overall I’ve got no problem recommending this company to everyone in and around the Colchester area.

Very happy with my new EV charger installation. The quote was very competitive and the job cost exactly what they said it would. Great experience from start to finish. Easily arranged a quote, Lea came and gave a quick and easy assessment of the work and confirmed he could provide everything I wanted. Quote was sent over the same day with a clear breakdown of everything required and beat others that I had looked in to. Came out under a fortnight later. Was more than courteous of us whilst installing the charger, made sure it was all up and running and demonstrated how it all worked on my own car. Payment was as quoted and was simple to pay. Recommend to anyone looking for the best quote and for great no fuss service.

No an easy install but that was no problem for Lea and James.
Costs were good in line with what I’d anticipated.
Made it look easy very neat and tidy hid the cabling really well. The Ohme charger was up and running in no time and connected easily and quickly with the Tesla which wasn’t as easy with my previous Hyper volt unit,Lea explained everything which was great.
Overall very happy with the job would use again
