It's convenient and accessible which is good. The car park is only a minutes walk away and has trolleys and a recycling area for clothes, etc.
The shop has a broad range of food and non-food items.
Work on points. The fresh produce isn't always that fresh. I've bought items several times out of necessity that are well past their best. Often they gave delivery issues and run out of stock on certain lines. Staff could be friendlier and more helpful.
There's an amazon locker which is useful.

And the award for Britain's Slowest Shop Goes To... The Coop! Soo slow, people push in the line, shelves are always empty. Staff are okay but again, slow! If it's not busy, then they must have new staff!

Excellent range of foods in a well stocked, popular store. Good layout and lighting. Range of different tills including self-service. My bugbear is the automated loud and constant sound giving directions from these tills, which can be heard across the store.

Spoken to incredibly rudely by staff member 'Polly' totally shocked that a retail worker would speak to a customer in that way. She then went on to riducule me to other staff members and customers in front of me and my 6 year old son. It's sad that in these difficult times people like these keep their jobs when others who are much more deserving cant get jobs. She clearly knows management will let her get away with her behaviour as she didn't seem to care

It's amazing that the Co-op cannot take a Paypoint Energy Voucher because it was on a mobile phone and was not printed! Yet other stores can do it including the Co-op garage which is only down the road! Other shops can do it but I guess it was too much to ask at the Co-op Hedge End to cope with or they just couldn't be bothered! Terrible service!

Quality of food and service has diminished in the last 5 years. Staff not as friendly any more and their produce has very short sell by dates on them. Had lots of fruit go mouldy within a day and twice now had chicken smelling of rotten eggs, and not over wiling or apologetic to compensate when product taking back . Problems got worse when Budgens closed and they now have no competition. Sadly lost my confidence.

Checked closing time (7pm today) and set off arriving 6.15pm... 4 other customers were stood outside as it was closed! This is not the first time the store has been closed when advertised as open.
Please amend your opening hours ... outside the shop as well as online!
When open, staff have been helpful but stock can be hit and miss.

Shelves barely stocked, most products left to buy are clearly overpriced or damaged. Saturday morning is peak trade time for goodness sake! Not a good selection on household or groceries either. Friendly but understaffed.
