I went in for a quick browse before work. Security that always wears sunglasses inside (weird) accused me of stealing a chocolate bar… as if I need to save a pound. Anyway. I ask him to do me a full body search as I didn’t even have a bag. He then rolled his eyes and said ‘go’. RUDE. I asked for manager .. all the manager did was say ‘sorry about that’ .. no apology from security. Absolutely nothing. I will be back and will be taking it further. Rude, disrespectful, doesn’t deserve to be security. Also the glasses inside is very sad to see. As much as I’m sure he wishes he was in a higher position the sunglasses clearly ain’t cutting it and maybe if he took them off he’s be able to use his eyes properly. I’m baffled.

Found the Dubai chocolate brownie here! The brownie by itself is very dense and soft. But the overall was way too sweet, pistachio flavour was mild.

Co op Soho don’t dumping outside the store on the fridges ventilation, that’s really effected the products validation which is a high risk of infection.

Supermarket of the year!
Why? Simple: for this year’s Pride (29/6/24) this Co-op completely went with it and put a DJ at the back of the aisles - for us shoppers to dance and party!!!

Well done Co-op, you deserve all the PR here and on Insta etc. as a picture book example how to do Pride with Pride, working with the sheer diverse customer base that we are 👍🌈

One of the worst supermarket I ever been, I constantly feel so uncomfortable by the security who work in there
I’m a regular costumer and everytime I go for my lunch break to take my meal deal they follow me wherever I go and even when I’m ready to pay they constantly stay behind me and staring
This is not doing your job, this is discrimination

Unhelpful and rude staff. Left a bag by accident at the self check out staff wouldn't check if been handed in or ask other members. They told me I have to go through head office and wouldn't provide contact details for the head office - actually told me to google it even though it was left in their store. Makes no sense...
Thanks Minesh the team leader at this store for your lack of empathy and help.

If the quality of customer service and controlled stock went hand in hand with the high quality of products, you would be at the top. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for their rude, arrogant, hypocritical attitude staff members in store but also overall poor stock management. Whether ordering through Uber, Deliveroo or visiting the store in person, I've consistently encountered subpar service that falls well below industry standards. The staff seem disinterested and indifferent, providing minimal assistance and often displaying a lack of product knowledge. This dismal level of service is even more disappointing when compared to establishments like Waitrose or M&S. Moreover, stock management/control is even better in stores like Tesco or Lidl, where rarely stock is “out of the stock” and customer satisfaction is prioritised. Despite the allure of premium products, the overall shopping experience at Co-op Food - Soho - Berwick Street is marred by its glaring deficiency in customer service.
The Sale of Goods Act 1979 (c. 54) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which regulated English contract law and UK commercial law in respect of goods that are sold and bought. Saying that it is illegal to advertise products online as “stock in” and then send the one I did not order. Instead of simply apologising and refund the difference, you playing around. Out of 10 orders, 8 comes wrong, either they are out of stock or I been given something I did not wanted. Shocking service, it's a shame that this store still exists.

Would honestly give it a 0 if I could, this has yet the most racist security I have ever seen not to mention the lack of staff, guy kept looking at me & my gf throughout the store. Made her so uncomfortable she decided to wait outside not to mention the guy is so creepy, standing next to you when you’re about to checkout, always looking at the little machine too. This is not the first occurrence and I’ve never seen any white person treated like this, but for some reason he only does it to black people. Co op need to get their security sorted, this is the closest supermarket to my apartment but definitely won’t be going back there again with how badly he treats people of colour
