I met with Chris Cooper - Hayes in my garden which at that time was just a lawn. After a very pleasant talk, with Chris listening making suggestions and giving guidance, It was decided that what I wanted was a sustainable garden.
What I now have is a garden with all bee and insect friendly plants and trees, a wildlife pond, openings for hedgehog access and a hedgehog house. I have everything I wanted and much more.
The whole project was carried out, under Chris’s supervision, with consideration and hard work.
Martin and Thierry did the ground work, keeping me fully informed without fail. They were clean and tidy and nice to have around.
Chris did the planting. I am enjoying the garden as I see it develop and bloom.

Chris had lots of good ideas that improved the design of our garden so much. He was able to step in at short notice and give us good advice prior to our landscape gardener starting work. I enjoyed working with him as he listened, incorporated what I wanted and explained his thinking. The overall impact of his design on our garden is just what we wanted and more. I can strongly recommend him.
Chris has been to see us a second time to discuss planting ideas, to shape our new lawn and also had some creative suggestions on how to use the stone we had lying around. His knowledge of plants was excellent and he helped me rehome the plants I'd had to lift. I am doing my own design of my main flower bed and I felt he left me with enough ideas to get started, the courage to give it a go and have a good sense of what I needed to do next.

Fantastic service from Chris. Cannot recommend him enough. He worked closely with us to understand what we wanted from our smallish space. We wanted our outdoor space to flow from our home so mainly an entertaining space we got exactly what we wanted. Chris did some draft designs before we agreed the final version between us.
His knowledge of plants meant we got exactly what we needed - low maintenance, perennials with movement with some colour and a great fit with our modern design.
Excellent Project Management of the build - uses quality contractors.

Chris came to see our site. It was a difficult one! Sloping towards the house and in two small separate halves. He suggested a couple of options and we chose one based on circles. This has created the illusion of more space and unified the garden. He then designed woodland planting to blend in with the site. We are delighted. He is a professional and easy to work with. You can choose whatever level of support you need.
