Dh Solar Engineering has very successfully installed an Air Source Heat Pump for us. The work was done efficiently, quickly solving any problems and ensuring the house was tidy and clean as they went along. When completed, they patiently explained how everything worked. DH Solar recently installed a solar thermal system which provides all of the hot water for our newly built home. They advised and guided us from the very start of the design and planning process, specifying a system that would work well for our specific needs, budget and situation. They proved to be incredibly knowledgable, patient and capable. The system has now been installed and is working well above our expectations - the 300L cylinder was full of 60-65 degree water within a few days of installation - IN FEBRUARY!

We had our solar water heating panels installed well over a year ago and have been enjoying seemingly endless hot water ever since. The two panels supply us with all the hot water we need for almost 2/3 of the year. We only have to give it a short boost from the central heating in the depths of winter! Installation was done with great care and the technology chosen was of the highest quality. This was an investment we would definitely make again.

We had Daniel and Max install four solar thermal panels a few years ago. The installation was very straight forward and expertly carried out. From May to October we switch the boiler off and even in the fringe months March/April and October/November the panels contribute substantially to our hot water and heating. We are extremely pleased with the system and their service and the fact we receive payments under the RHI scheme also is a bonus.

dh Solar engineering installed a solar thermal heating system for us. We were given clear information/options beforehand and a detailed quote for the work to be done. Their experience and knowledge were invaluable to the project and the work was done when promised, on time and as quoted. They explained to us what they were doing and why at each step and when the work was done we were given a detailed explanation of the system. In addition to the installation of the solar system, they greatly simplified and improved our existing chaotic and somewhat dysfunctional heating system more generally. They are very friendly, hard-working and conscientious. Very highly recommended!

Fantastic service, highly professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and good value for money. To briefly summarise a very long, dull and expensive story: we inherited a faulty integrated solar panel, solar thermal, woodburner and thermal store upon moving to a new home. Problems included faulty initial installation plumbing seemingly unbeknownst to the former owner and a series of age related failures resulting in an almost worthless multi-thousand-pound alternative energy system that was collecting dust. Dan and Max worked out what was wrong, how best to resolve the problems, and all the while being sure to redesign the system to our individual requirements. They are professional, hard working, kept to budget and are lovely chaps. A great local company with superior knowledge of alternative energy solutions and systems. We now have both basic control of our heating and water via our oil boiler (previously having had to manually turn on and off heat and hot water) but are also maximising our free heat via our panels, thermal heating tubes and thermal store. Our life is now many times easier and we are saving money too. We cannot recommend DH Solar highly enough and are delighted to have found such a brilliant local and caring company . Merry Christmas!

Just had first bath heated purely by the sun, heating panels installed (and integrated with a pellet boiler for central heating and water), by dh-engineering. And it's only March. Daniel and Max are passionate about renewable energy. From start to finish, explaining options, clarifying quotes, RHI payback etc; tidy, considerate, informative, high quality workmanship. Couldn't have asked for more.
