Twice now they have missed the delivery deadline and we have had to chase.
Was told delivery would be the next morning around 9am only to arrive at 6am waking all our neighbours!
6am is not an acceptable time to be delivering oil on a housing estate, I thought it was illegal to be making noise before 7.30am.Wont be using again which is a shame as we like to support local businesses.

I've used D J Davies Fuels for several years and have an account with them. I've found them to be competitively priced, reliable with their deliveries and always friendly and courteous whenever I contact them. I live approx an hour and a half from them, yet they never let me down. Highly recommended firm who are doing a great job. Thanks guys.

I ordered oil on the 4/12/24 had an email saying I would have to pay another £52 for a mini tanker, I emailed back immediately saying that in 15 years we have never had a mini tanker usually 4 wheelers sometimes 6 wheelers, never heard anymore so assumed all was OK, delivery date of 18/12/24 came and went so rang only to be told they were waiting for the extra money for the mini tanker, no amount of saying we don't need it worked so asked for my money back, so call boilerjuice who I have used many times in the past paid them, only to get an email saying delivery cancelled as they were now using davies who told them that we needed a 4x4 for delivery, now I have paid for 2 lots of oil and have not got any refunded yet, we are in our 70s on our state pension and no oil or money, when I get a refund I will order from Certas who have delivered here regularly, maybe get the clowns from davies to come and watch on the delivery day to see how simple it is, will not use them or boilerjuice again, absolutely awful service.

Very unreliable service. We pay up front because Davies said we'd get better service if we don't have an account. We've had to call repeatedly after the date of promised delivery to ask when our oil will be delivered, only to be told that delivery is up to the driver and that the promised delivery date when we order is only an estimate. On this occasion Davies has had our payment for 12 days already and no oil has been delivered. They never call to tell you when your oil will be delivered if they've missed the delivery date. We've had to turn off our heating systems and won't have any heat or hot water until the driver decides to bring us oil. We won't be dealing with Davies again.

Arrogant staff asked to explain how I owed them 20 pound when I was paying in the 20 by direct debit so I asked how I was minus 20 they went around the bushes to no answer Margaret put the phone down on me twice won't be ever purchasing my oil or anything with them again I had always used them for my heating oil but no more that's for sure horrible company to try and get a straight answer from

Last 3 times I’ve ordered from them they have failed to deliver on time. And when you ring them to ask when they will deliver they make you feel like they are doing you a favour trying to fit you in. Poor service. Unreliable. Will not use again

Ordered oil and delivery was arranged for Friday.
Got to 3.30pm and no oil so partner rang and they confirmed that delivery was still on its way and would arrive by the end of the day. Fair enough.
7.30pm still no oil so emailed DJ Davies and got a reply this morning (Saturday). No apology or reason given for the delay. Just told it will arrive today. We'll see.
Terrible service and will not be using them again.

Edit for update: The oil arrived the following day, but 200 litres less than what we had ordered due to them not having enough on the tanker. As it was the weekend, we had to wait until the Monday for the rest of the order. Delivery guys were nice, but the woman on the phone was rude and had no phone manner at all. Bad customer service.
