Both for the survey and installation, Doormatic arrived promptly and their follow up was quick. On the day of installation the guys kept me informed exactly when they were arriving. They got on with the job, they were professional and polite and finished the garage door. Just had a garage door replaced by Doormatic Garage Doors and I must say I am impressed by how profesional they are in all aspects: from how they communicate with customers, from the survey they offer for free, and from the ordering part to the delivery and installation. Also there were no delays at all, no hidden charges, and invoices were immediately provided after payment online. As for the garage door itself, it has arrived and was installed the day we agreed. Been looking for a company for a while to replace a very old garage door. Found Doormatic on Trust a trader, they came out to survey the garage and sent over a quote the following day. Once I had decided to go with Doormatic, I paid a 40% deposit and was given a lead time. Throughout the process I was kept informed. I was contacted once the door was ready and confirmed the installation date. On the day I was the second installation and the fitter arrived early afternoon. The installation was quick and old door and surround removed. The new door looked amazing, so much better than the old one that was falling apart!! FinalIy I was shown how to use and lock the door. Would highly recommend Doormatic.

I wouldn’t recommend this company for your garage doors, they’ll happy contact you to get a sale through but when you complain about a poor installation they’ve done, they won’t return calls and will leave you with an insecure garage door.

Purchased an expensive garage door, thought it was a good job until the motor pulled the bracket which secured the garage opening motor mechanism to the garage door.

The bracket has multiple holes to secure this correctly to the door, as this bracket is taking the strain to pull the garage door up. The installer Instead used 2 bolts to secure this bracket and the motor pulled the bracket off the garage door and left 2 large holes. Had they added the 2 top bolts the wouldn’t have been an issue.

The company won’t share their installation guide (what a surprise) and insist 2 bolts are adequate.
