Jon fitted my wood burning stove about 6 weeks ago. I found the whole experience fantastic. He was efficient, a clean swift worker, and substantially less than the other quote I was given by a local rival firm. From initial quote to installation took about 2 weeks. I would recommend Dorset Fire and Chimney without hesitation. Excellent work.

Worse local business in the bridport area. Was not given a warm welcome, or hello when first visiting the shop. 2 aggressive dogs that jumped up onto me as I walked in, turns out these dogs are the owners who stay shut in the office. The lady owner looked at me in disrespect for no unknown reason and had the attitude that she could not be bovered to serve or help me as a new customer. Very rude rude woman who actually made the whole experience a misery and took her 11 months to sort out my issue. This lady has no communication or people skills to run a business, she has the attitude that she cannot be bovered to help you and will make your experience a bad one to remember. Other fire and chimney businesses that I have gone to have had existing customers from the bridport fire and chimney place because of a bad/poor experience from herself with ongoing issues that haven't been resolved.

What a truly awful experience. Don't expect anything done if it's windy, cold, damp, raining. Amazing at guessing angles wrong though! Save your money and go elsewhere or just do it yourself. It's fitting a metal pipe, not building a space ship. No wonder he keeps falling off his ladder! Terrible!
