He arrived at the property and quoted £70 without confirming whether he should proceed with the job. Shortly after, he refused to hand over the keys to the tenant. This has been one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve encountered in business.

You forgot to mention about been quoted and then changing the price for no reason at all, can you show how you fixed the pipe, with tape? All the jobs were paid and you can agree to that, and don’t worry I’ve let plenty know about your business, just check your 1 star reviews, doesn’t take Einstein how you do your business, treating behaviour but then can’t answer the phone and speak face to face

Beware - Scott Barr of Draincare Scotland does not finish the job he’s been paid to do.
Scott broke my manhole cover and charged me extra to supply and fit a new cover. Over a month later, he’s never been back with the cover, he’s not given me any money back, he’s stopped answering my calls and texts, and I’m left with a broken manhole cover. If you look at his other reviews, he’s done this to other people too.
Please avoid Draincare Scotland and look for somebody reliable

Had used Scott previously with no issues, however on this occasion we needed some work done urgently and as we were about to go in holiday we paid Scott upfront for a small job. He assured us the work would be done by the time we returned from holiday. We are now 2 months down the road and after many excuses and broken promises the work has still not been done. Avoid this company at all costs

Following a fault in my pumping station Scott came out and took the pump away. Charged a significant sum for 30 minutes work. He then said he would order a replacement but needed the money up front as he is only a ‘wee’ business. He has never delivered the new pump and has not provided a refund. Will not respond to messages. Would not touch this company with a barge pole. Overall shocking service and still significantly out of pocket a month later and having to involve Trading Standards! Update now had to lodge formal legal action which was done today at Dundee Sheriff Court! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Scott is amazing - had an emergency drainage issue that left my bathroom flooded. After calling about 15 different services, I found Draincare Scotland. He came out immediately after another job and had it sorted within an hour. I cannot recommend him enough!!

Called Scott just before 12 noon and he arrived exactly as promised between 4pm and 5pm. He was quick, professional and had great customer service. Has cleared the blockage in our drain and explained that it is typical for the size of pipes used on property’s of my home’s age. He had to dig around the pipe in order to get to the base where the blockage was, however when he was finished, he left everything as he found it. Moved the gravel back around the pipe and generally tidy!

Would strongly recommend Scott! Had a price from DrainDoctor who couldn’t attended until 4 days later, and were quoting £400. Scott charged a quarter of that and fixed the problem same day, no problem.

Scott came out to fix a blocked kitchen exit drain. He was super easy to book and communicate with. It was a gross job, but Scott dealt with it efficiently and was super friendly the whole time. He was very knowledgeable and willing to explain if we had any questions. Would absolutely use him again in the future without hesitation.
