I hired them for my wedding and they had such an attitude to my mother and other bartenders we hired. We wanted their help pouring wine at the dinner table and they refused to do anything except make cocktails. They were not friendly and just added more stress honestly. They should not be in the service business. They were also texting me right before my ceremony asking for tip money. Like the deserved a tip at all. They actually made my mom cry. Miserable looks on their faces. Not the energy you want on ur wedding day!

Drinks are us is a great convenience store, there is a wide range of stock to choose from. The store itself is well laid out and it is clean and tidy. The prices are reasonable, especially considering it’s a family shop and not a supermarket who can buy very cheaply because of the quantity they buy.
The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. I will definitely be shopping there again.

BEWARE!!!
when buying from this shop make sure you check that what you've purchased is as what you would expect it to be, because, if for whatever reason you take it out the door then realise it's either not what you was expecting or doesn't function as stated you will not be able to return the item for either a refund or replacement as the shop owner and, who I assume are his sons will refuse to honour your statutory rights and refuse to swap or refund you. In my opinion this is tantamount to theft! So be warned!!!!!@!

I do like the female worker with blonde hair, as she is fair and has a sense of humor. She is also rather friendly. She is the reason I am giving 3* over 2.

However, the store itself is owned by a male and his wife, who charge a lot for items and usually is trying to sell out of date items at a "reduced price".
What's more, Singh still charges a credit/debit card fee if your purchase if under 5GPB. This is illegal.

I find it extremely difficult to understand him, as it appears most of the time he is choking on his thick accent. Do not try to have a conversation with him, only the female, unless necessary.

I was not aware of the surcharge he is still practicing in, illegally I might add, and will be reporting this to Trading Standards UK. I, and many others are entitled to a refund of our 50pence.

I am petty, but in the long run, this guy has probably made thousands over the 2+years he has illegally been charging his customers.

p.s. the store is a little hard to maneuver around, and he never has any damn Volvic Watermelon anymore.
