Opiniones

This company has 60 reviews on Google My Business. Average opinion: 4.2/5.

Got a great view of the power station from the top of the lighthouse! Couldn't see a visitors shop, any recycling bins or handy EV charging points. Wasn't able to spot any of the "technical challenges" that EDF talk about, but that's probably a good thing to be honest.

An amazing place. Had wanted to visit for ages & had the opportunity in January 2017 when I did a photographic course there. As I was leaving I looked round by chance & captured 6 shots of the amazing sunset behind the power station.

Work related visit to the station.
High level of security for obvious reasons, staff at the security office were very pleasant, welcoming, informative and answered all my questions.
A very lengthy wait approximately 3 hrs to be escorted onto the site but everyone I came into contact with were extremely helpful and a joy to work with during the visit.

Wow. We went for a group tour which was arranged with the Dungeness B Visitor centre. Getting there was easy, with a long driveway leading to a large parking area. The visitor centre is a large modular building which is accessible. Here you'll find a small museum section and a large briefing room where you will be safety inducted. The staff who tour you, take Health & Safety incredibly seriously. The safety briefing was detailed and impressive. The tour involves you wearing hi-viz jackets, safety glasses, a hard hat with ear defenders and a radio ear-piece. This was a great idea. The tour guide gives an excellent verbal tour as you walk around, which is heard through your earpiece. The radio is volume adjustable also, so you can always adjust if needed. The tour takes you many places, including the reactor and turbine room. I expected to be amazed, however nothing prepares you for the size of the engineering. To think that this place was built without any computer aided design or machinery is insane! Even if machinery and factories aren't your thing, you'll find this day out exciting and interesting. It's fine for children but check the website for suitability. They will seriously need to behave, including hands out of pockets and regimental walking! All in, it was a great 90 minutes. Allow at least 3 hours with induction/safety setup etc etc. Don't bring cameras, phones etc, everything must be left in your boot with only car keys and passport brought in for locker storage. There are a few steps, and be expected to walk about 1.5 miles in 99 minutes. It's not taxing though. P.S. Sarah and Geordie Lesley the tour guide was AWESOME. 😊

Fascinating and well organised tour, free parking, free admission. A highly recommended visit. Not really young children or the elderly due to steps and in some places noise. Minimum age is 8. The staff are very friendly and willing to answer all your questions. The tour takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, accompanied by a trained station guide. You'll see the reactor viewing gallery, the turbine hall and the cooling water intake. You'll need to book three weeks in advance and provide passport/ID information. No phones/cameras/smart watches. Some parts of the tour are outside, so wear appropriate clothing if necessary.
