I have recently purchased a Durston double powered rolling mill. I can’t begin to tell you what a game changer it is. I am a 66 woman and whilst I have my beautiful Olivia C130, she is a little slow for rolling large quantities of wire. The powered mill saves my shoulders and arms, so I now have the bed of both worlds.
I have been a Durston fan for years and although I have purchased from other companies from time to time, I always come back home to Durston. Just to mention a few, I now have 2 mills, an Arbor Press, the ring stretcher/reducer/bender, large vice, small vice, jump ringer, disc cutters , desk organiser, draw plates and dozens of bench tools.
I cannot recommend Durston tools highly enough. Whilst I acknowledge that they are the best of the best and that is reflected in the price, you do get what you pay for in this world. My advice to anyone looking for new tools is save up and purchase once. With respect and care for your tools, you will have them for a lifetime.

I bought a jewellers lamp from Durston which I love-very versatile and looks great, too. Sadly, after a few months, it ceased working. They paid for it to be collected, returned and then replaced with a new one within 2 days, after they found it was irreparable. Excellent service.

I've bought many things from Durston over the years and everything is of the highest quality, it just keeps going. I've had a couple of occasions when I've had to phone for technical support and the assistance was amazing. As the range offered continues to grow from Durston, they remain my favorite supplier for my tools without question.

Very nice products and I have always cherished them. I recently bought a superior watchmakers bench which is super. Due to my own stupidity, I made an assembly error that required factory correction. Durston collected the parts, replaced them and redelivered free. They were extremely helpful at all stages and I cannot praise Durston or their staff, especially Candice, highly enough.

It’s shameful that a company like this would push bad knockoff tools. It ruins their credibility. Making long ranting posts trying to justify it digs them in even fuller and gives them a really sleazy vibe.
I own a very old Durston rolling mill (yeah, it's not going to be on your transaction list it's that old). It has not stood to test of time and when I go to replace it, I’ll definitely be considering a different brand.
FURTHERMORE, they have sent threatening emails regarding my review since I posted it. This company has NO shame in any aspects of their business.

I’ve had the most amazing help from Matthew and his team at Durston ! I have several pieces of their equipment..rolling mill, guillotine, jump ring maker.. all are lifelong workshop treasures. Following a small parallel adjustment needed recently for my rolling mill, instead of grappling with it myself Matthew kindly offered to sort it for me. I was so relieved and delighted and can’t thank him and his staff enough, not just on this occasion but earlier in the year when I purchased the guillotine too. There was also another time a few years ago when the sleeve to my cutter for the jump ring maker wouldn’t fit my drill and one of their engineers kindly shaved the internal diameter to fit ! Now that’s what I call brilliant service. Thank you Durston.

Top quality tools! Some say its overpriced but i say that its a situation of you get what you pay for, everything from Durston Tools is exceptional quality from little things like bur lube or soldering picks all the way to rolling mills and benches... The only minus when buying from their website is that you never get a notification about shipped parcel or any tracking number... so you just buy and wait, you will get it after a week or maybe two, or three... who knows when... 🙂

Looking for a mini rolling mill as a gift, I contacted Durston and was given some excellent advice with regards to my options. Very competitive prices, delivery was bang on time, and the roller itself went down very well with the recipient! Really recommend these guys 🙂
