Had a wonderful meal with friends at the Simla Tandoori last week, which is directly opposite this furniture shop.
We came back a few days later just to visit this Shop. I have to say that it was so nice to see a proper old fashioned, family run shop.
We found just what we were looking for, great quality and lovely staff. So pleased that our friends chose the Indian restaurant across the road.

Excellent service throughout, they were happy to keep our wardrobe and bed at the shop until we were ready for them to be delivered. Delivery on time with friendly delivery men. Made the wardrobe and bed as part of the service. Highly recommended and nice to support a local business.

This was our first visit to E C Hollywell, to look for a new mattress. We ended up buying a new king sized bed, mattress and headboard which was on special clearance offer. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. Our new bed was delivered the next day and the delivery guys even put the bed together for us which was a great help. We've had a great first impression of the shop and the customer service. So we'll definitely go there first when we need any furniture in future and we're happy to recommend E C Hollywell.

Used them before for a big carpeting job, and now to supply and fit vinyl floor going through two rooms. Pleasant, prompt, communicative, competively priced and good quality job. Came back without argument to sort a minor issue and it is now an even better quality job. Friendly staff in shop too. Will use again without hesitation.
