Was with E for Dual Fuel between November 2015 - February 2022
Never had an issue. Did have an ET sometime in 2017 but E was very quick to resolve. I plan on switching to E Dual Fuel again in my new property. Amazing Support Staff, Great Prices.

Shameful company as most of them are these days.

Do not use this company! Avoid at all costs. I’m supposed to receive the warm home discount. I enquired as to when it would be paid.

The response was disgusting. At a time when families are struggling most and need the money you would think they would have paid it by now. Nope instead they are waiting for the January hike so they can re-coup what they spend as they pay the warm home discount. Everyone knows they’ll make millions in profit, does a few pound matter that much when people are already struggling financially. This company could do something good to help people instead they are trying to work out the best way to give themselves a nice little extra bonus.

Rip off company I have tried to go to another company to set up direct debit and let a more affordable company take over and these have blocked it we know why because my old age father is paying £20 a day which makes this disgusting company happy.. my father has a clear account and has no Arrears. If these carry on blocking we will start legal proceedings!!!!!

I’ve had multiple frustrating experiences with E Gas and Electricity, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. On several occasions, their customer service team has provided me with incorrect advice, causing confusion and wasting my time. To make matters worse, they have hung up on me during calls, which is both unprofessional and incredibly frustrating when trying to resolve important issues.

I expected a much higher standard of service, especially when dealing with something as essential as energy supply. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

I've been with E for a long time. I contacted them recently when I had an issue with my electricity meter. They wasted my time having me visit 4 stores for a replacement key over a few days, in that time the remaining credit on my meter ran out.
I called again and the representative said they could just send out a key. I asked if an engineer could be sent out to confirm if they key or the meter was the issue and load some emergency credit onto the meter to restore my supply. I reminded them that I was a vulnerable customer on the priority services register and was recovering from surgery.
They said no and that they wouldn't send an engineer out unless I agreed to have a smart meter fitted which I already told them I didn't want.
I'll be contacting Ofgem and the energy Ombudsman about this then changing suppliers. My experience with this company has been awful. The representative Pilo I spoke to was dishonest insisting a standard non smart meter couldn't be fitted to replace my current one. I know this not to be true.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They keep deducting usage for gas when I am not at home or through the night when I’m obviously asleep, and tried to say I have some kind of boiler or thermostat issue or a timer…I have never had any of these things. Do not recommend this company at all.

15 days of the mobile app not working and showing incorrect balance and top ups not being processed resulting in 10 hours of no electricity and a completely defrosted freezer bye bye Christmas meals. Been with them for over 5 years. Don't recommend.
