Totally pleasant experience yesterday. Staff Members Megan and Amie were really helpful, as were other staff that I spoke to. Compost loaded into my car for me. Will be back.

The place to go for all your garden neads. Also great range of fencing.
Staff very friendly from helping with car parking, to help loading panels, compost etc in vehicle.

Lovely selection of plants and garden accessories, just let down by the wheelchair access being so shockingly thoughtless.
-No parking for blue badge holders/designated disabled parking. The only paved parking area was a small (fully occupied) section for "elderly and families". Without markings on the ground to indicate the spaces and gaps which disabled parking needs... though it wasn't disabled parking, as per the image attached.
-Almost all 'concessions' sheds were up a step/steps with no ramp. It's an insult that a business like yourselves couldn't fit the units (which appear relatively new and have generous outdoor space) with level access, or provide a ramp to be used as needed. The maintainable team on site seemed perfectly capable of doing so, yet it has not been done.
-The disabled toilet is split level, up a step to reach the toilet meaning a wheelchair cannot get close. This just was the last straw, it's the most ridiculous design feature I've ever come across in a disabled toilet which is saying something. The drop down grab rail was on the side most in the way for a wheelchair user to access the toilet, with no rail the side at which it would have helped with the precarious attempt to get to/from wheelchair to toilet. The toilet roll holder nearest the toilet (a meter or so) was empty, the other was impossible to reach. The hand drier and bin were up the step as well meaning neither could be used. It just is such an obvious failure in design and I can't get my head around it.

I despair. The parking, the lack of access to side businesses and the toilet situation all hit a 'wheelchairs not welcome' tone. The parking sign was frankly erasure of the existence of wheelchair users.

I have been in this several times. I liked how they serve their customers. They are very helpful. The nursery has a very rich collection of indoor as well as outdoor plants.

An excellent dog friendly garden centre.
A great range of well looked after plants and many quality tools all at fair prices.
We didn't get to use the cafe, but it looked very welcoming. Also, a good selection of wines for sale.

A visit is a must flower pots plants trees statues all in great condition they also do garden furniture. I have uploaded a few photos to help.

Had some interesting items in the shop and a wide choice of landscaping materials. That part of the centre was massive, but the cafe is quite small and was very busy when we visited.

Had to replace my shed 10x6 of 38 years as the roof was leaking. Did a lot of research into this & visited a number of possibles. In the end it was an easy choice as EGLC had a good quality 8x6 shed, they would remove the old shed (for a reasonable cost, I had been quoted over £330 to remove) deliver & erect the new one.

After about 4 weeks they called to arrange a delivery date. 2 weeks later on schedule their team arrived around 8:30 and did a superb job quickly & efficiently. The new shed easily stores what I need, please see photos but note the bench & shelves are my own & not fitted or supplied by EGLC.
